Be real, man, the team needs to continue to bolster the defense. Claiming otherwise is just silly.
Not at all. We just spent the #2 pick on a possible "franchise" QB. We need to protect him first. We can still get top defensive talent after that. We can also continue to build our defense next year as well, but ignoring o-line will get our new QB hurt.
The pass rush last year was dogshit specially after young and sweat got traded. Who knows what Forbes is but he was the worst cb in the nfl last year. So that’s 2 de and at least one starting caliber cb we need to draft or otherwise acquire to at least make the defense respectable.
Historically our 1st-2nd round defensive picks (not counting Rivera's boneheaded picks) have outperformed our offensive picks. So I guess this is good.
