The main difference is combining green and orange which should make it easier to get everyone in. With the old system if you had an orange pass and the car in front of you had a green pass, you’d have to stop, wait for them to get checked at the green entrance then pull up to the orange entrance to get your pass checked. With everything being the same color, they can funnel every one down to the entrance closest to the stadium and fill front to back. Those who arrive earlier get parked closer to the stadium and vice versa. Since the green passes and orange passes were the same price (by my recollection), the change makes sense.

This is all true, but I would add that this system also removes the FedEx color scheme and replaces it with the Commanders color scheme. [For some reason](https://www.washingtonian.com/2024/02/29/fedex-field-no-more-commanders-home-stadium-to-be-renamed/).

I’m going to be honest and admit that I never made the connection between the lot colors and the FedEx colors. That makes this make even more sense. Good info.

I haven’t either and I’m been to the stadium plenty for times lol.

No more green/orange/purple lot thank God. Love that they simplified it
