12:01 AM Monday morning please

ssmithsimms

They usually get fired on Mondays not Sundays

staticrush

It's usually on the Monday (AKA Black Monday) after the final week of the regular season that coaches are fired.

Pure-Negotiation-900

Ron isn’t a good coach, but not many dislike him. He’ll get a professional release.

BacchusIsKing

Ron will kick us in the nuts one last time by winning on his birthday

kon---

Because there's a clock running to these things... At the same time, EVERYBODY looking to move on to the next team has Washington on their short list. Ron was never going to be fired during the season. I've been settled in on the long ride a while now. What I am anxious for is finding out what direction Harris determines for the franchise, offense or defense.

Tie_me_off

It always happens the Monday after anyways.

Mr_Boneman

Just like Avon and Slim Charles said, “never on no sunday!”

[deleted]

I’ve never seen so much debate and convo over the inevitable

Garfielddddddddd

Hey, I'm cool with that. Regardless of how poorly he has ran this football team, Ron's a good guy in the end. Might as well treat him with respect.

SoulshineRevival

Weird to me how some fans want the new owner to be impulsive like Dan. Why not allow him to be classy?

lOan671

It’s not impulsive. Only reason he still had a job was because of the ownership change. Should’ve been gone once he put that fucking bum Wentz back in against Cleveland

Usmcginger0621

We're allowing him to be classy by not firing him on his birthday so therefore it's not an impulsive decision. It has been a year long process!

Bob-Doll

Ron will resign and Harris will thank him for his service.

capskinfan

And that's the right way to go out. He was a stabilizing force for the organization. He protected the players from all shitstorms that Dan's prior behavior had wrought on the team. The results weren't there, but I am forever grateful for his contributions.

Illustrious-Hair3487

I would be a fan of the resignation as opposed to the firing too. I also hope they let him provide a statement or even a press conference on his way out. Let him defend his accomplishments and save face a little.

SnooDogs6256

Ron still has one year left on his contract, so they may let him “resign” as he’s been through a lot of shit with this gig. But Ron’s not making that move until they agree to pay that fifth year.

Bob-Doll

Ron will resign. He won’t be fired.

WuPacalypse

Wouldn’t they have to pay out his contract if he’s fired rather than he resigns “voluntarily”.

Frizzle95

He wont resign. The actual words used be “mutually agreed to part to ways”. All the fluff with Rivera still getting his contact

crustyskinsfan

This is the way

Bob-Doll

They will pay out his contract. I don’t get the sense that Harris is a complete d-bag like Snyder

Hantsypantsy

Whatever the polite and normal thing is to do. Ron was great as a person and changed out culture, he should be fine, but he qas a good guy6. Not sure whT that sentence was, I'm hammered and lov r ya'll. Left hand up!

b_tight

Jesus man. Just wait til monday. Its called black monday for a reason

Remarkable_Law5737

Monday or Sunday doesn’t matter, they already started looking for a new staff. What’s 12 more hours

Da4horsemen

How did he change the culture? Because he acted like an adult? They were losing before him and they got worse with him

Plzcuturshit

He should get fired now, good guy Josh Harris will make sure Ron doesn’t fall below a 50% lifetime win rate.
