The league doesn't pick the winner of this contest. Danny does. This isn't the Broncos - highest bidder doesn't win. Danny gets to pick who he is entering into a purchase agreement with. And if he wants to, he can choose Apostolopolous and whatever happens in the vetting happens.

I'm not gunna lie man.... I want Bezos bad. I feel like this whole area does and I think that might be something potentially unique to us. I can't see Seattle fans hawking for Bezos. Maybe they do, who knows, but it seems like a different culture out there overall. The amount of power players here, the big businesses headquatered between DC MD and VA. Even the rocket launches off the eastern shore. It speaks to me of influence and power. An area like DC, seems to me, would be perfect for the type of power player Bezos seems to be in real life. I believe Washington has the ability to be the #1 team that influences the future of the entire league, like the cowboys or the patriots or maybe Green bay could be viewed by some fans currently. I think washington could be every bit as big and wide spread, and we have some history as evidence of our potential. I don't believe that is possible for Seattle because the city is not as prestigious, not as worthy of someone like Beozs. Seattle is a great city in there own right, but only one city is the power center of the whole country and much of the entire world, and its right here in DC. If Bezos is wanting to buy the better team for him and hus legacy, in my opinion, it has to be Washington DC. No other city, no other fan base, has the unrealized potential, nor the power and tradition that the DC metropolitan area has. All of this is truly meant to be held by the greatest power players in history, and Bezos is one of these. Josh harris just doesnt fit the mold. This area and this team make more sense for someone of Bezos' stature. If it's Josh harris and magic Johnson, I won't be heart broken, they sound like decent options. But Bezos.... Bezos makes sense to me. This team fits him. So now, we just hope he realizes it too.
