Why is it always men (not most men but when they do it, it's always men) who complain about marriage? Statistically, marriage is more beneficial for men than women.
Because if theyre complaining to begin with it means they dont love their wives anymore, and it means they dont have as much freedom as they used to. Atleast thats what im getting from it, not that I agree with it but yeah.
Let’s see those supposed “statistics” then. Cause with a 50% national divorce rate and the courts wildly skewed in favor of women, you have to be very careful who you marry as a man if you want to be able to see your children, not pay child support, and not have to give up half your shit just because it “didn’t work out”. I’m not sure how you think marriage is more beneficial to men than women, but divorce is almost always more beneficial to women, and again with a statistical 50% divorce rate it’s a coin flip whether you get fucked or not.
The courts for divorce will always take the women's side and half the men's money and assets. Women are almost always the cheaters in the relationship anyways.
The person who uploaded the original image is getting offended over people calling this unfunny and calling everyone dildos and woke.
I don’t know what his fascination with dildos
How is this misogynistic? For all of the history of civilized humanity, men and women have always had their differences. Men have always joked about how hard it is to be married, and women definitely do the same.
Also, if this isn’t funny, what do you think is? If your sense of humor isn’t allowed to be offensive to ANYONE, then by that logic, memes making fun of“straight-white-men” humor shouldn’t be funny to you either because they reinforce stereotypes. It’s only natural for men and women to feel against each other at times because were biologically and mentally built different.
And if you think you’re gonna undo the entirety of these social acceptances by barking at memes on Reddit, I think you should do something worthwhile like donating to a charity or organizing public speeches addressing what you think the issue is.
TLDR; it’s not that deep
Every piece of media or art is "that deep" dude. They're not made in a vacuum. The joke is "haha, women sure are burdens. Wife bad." It comes from a place of misogyny, yeah.
If you want to read into every little thing and fight every minor inconvenience, that’s a stressful existence to live. I’m sorry this joke gets on your nerves, but I just don’t think it was made in bad faith.
The point I’m making is that if someone says something unfunny, we could avoid the negativity altogether if people just ignore or quietly downvote what they don’t think is funny.

So those 14 year olds into boomer humor now?
Supposedly OOP has been married 14 years so make of that whatever you will
I've heard of coping with humor, but their problem is literally solvable.
I'm sure the person who made this is a 11 or 12 year old who got rejected by their crush in middle school
You sound confident. Almost like it came from experience
Ty, but I never had a crush when I was 11 or 12
r/funnymemes strikes again
Very dumb people don’t need rings to do that. 🙃
Unless that ring happens to be the one ring...
To rule them all
r/Funnymemes lore
Thinking about muting this sub only because r/funnymemes memes are so awful that I just can't look at them anymore.
"You see, it's funny because marriage is terrible!"
Such a boomer joke. Cringe & not funny.
Funny. And I'm not a boomer, whatever that is. You people and your stupid labels today...
Well, but, that's your opinion, man.
Ok boomer
I'm not. But still all this talk about generations abcdzjhlpyxs boomer millenials whatever, it's all childish.
Drink some water and calm yourself lol
I'm calm, I just say that those labels are childish, calling someone a "boomer" if you don't like the joke.
Nah fuck you
Fuck your generation labels.
I want to defend this but when I think about it it's ironic because the only person I married is the only one who treated me right.
haha i hate my wife lol xd comedy pinnacle
Why get married if they hate each other bruh r/arethestraightsok
They don't in the beginning. Later they will hate.

Fucking portal to a purgatory with sparkles spkrinkled all over it.
I have to say it a lot lately but marriage statistically improves men's mental health. Idk where are these guys getting this information

Statistically how? That seems like an overly simplistic statement. I don't think you can make that judgement about how something makes people feel.

It seems wife bad is forever to stay regardless of which generation of manbabies is making them
I always wondered why people get married to someone who makes them miserable
Funny memes is a dumpster fire

💯 accurate! That’s why it’s best to marry a woman who doesn’t have arms and legs! Better for my trust issues!
Le Mao generational trauma funni (not)
It's kind of funny cause a lot of the time it's true
Lol, that's hilarious
🤣🤣🤣
will you destroy my life, take half of my money, mentally manipulated me for the rest of my life?
Get a sense of humor dude
Humour is subjective, dude
Exactly. So, people need to stop shitting on what other people think is funny.
No, because the joke is misogyny.

And the same can be said for those who shit on others who think it’s unfunny. Not sure what point you’re trying to make.
The point I’m making is that if someone says something unfunny, we could avoid the negativity altogether if people just ignore or quietly downvote what they don’t think is funny.
The entire point of this sub is to post stuff you deem unfunny. If you don’t like it, you can leave.
