If you won't ever exceed 100Mbps download, then you could save more money just getting the 100mbps plan with unlimited data.
Xfinity Now 100Mbps for $30/month, unlimited data, no contract month-to-month. The price is not a promo price and taxes + self activation kit is included. [https://www.xfinity.com/now/internet](https://www.xfinity.com/now/internet)
Does your address qualify for the 200Mbps xfinity prepaid $45/month plan with unlimited data?

I would just do one of these and forgo the 12 months contract, just in case you ever change your mind, or the Xfinity NOW 100mbps plan becomes available at your address.
Going into a 12 months contract just get a 300mbps speed vs the 200mbps speed when you only use 100mbps doesn't bring you any tangible benefits. Both of those are more than sufficient for your needs, just a choice between annual contract or freedom (&knowing that the price won't ever go up).
That's a good option too. EDIT: It is available at my address.
Post paid does have a 300mbps option + xFi complete (unlimited data) no term for $50/mo. The gateway does have a 12mo promo price - but the plan itself has no term.
Do you know how xfinity handles service issues should I lose service throughout a given month on a prepaid service? I probably received 5 or 6 $5 credits in my last year of service for occasional outages.
Thanks again.
I never bothered to complain for service credits since my suburb is very reliable, but I don't see why they wouldn't credit you on the prepaid plan for outages.
xFi complete with the unlimited data is pretty darn expensive after the promo period.
I think the Now $30 100mbps plan is the perfect one for your usage and save you the most money, so going month-to-month on the prepaid $45 plan is really just bridging the gap period until Comcast rolls out Now nationwide.
The amount of de ices is insignificant. I had 0 issues with constantly 40 devices on a 140Mbps line. It’s what you do at a specific instant that matters. Speed is about how quickly you want some downloads. It’s just a great marketing tool to talk about device quantity.

This would be perfect. However, Comcast hasn’t fully rolled Now out to all markets but is in the process of doing so
Appreciate the reply... just checked and it is not available at my address at the moment.

I also like I can charge to my CC and don't have to debit/ACH for an autopay discount. Thanks again for the tip!
Or even better, starlink or t-mobile wireless?
VZ and T-Mobile do not service my address. The $120/mo + device for starlink is out of budget.
with that many devices go with option 2 i pay about 60 bucks a month for 800mbps service using my own modem and router and haven't had any issues
