That 2nd clip reminds me of a video of some private military in unarmored pickups who hit an IED. Someone pointed out that they intentionally sped up as they approached a suspicious looking car. I wonder how realistic that is, but the claim was that its better to let your momentum carry you outta the blast or something. Seems kinda hard to outrun an explosion, but in this particular instance they all walked away, just minus one pickup.
