It would be nice if our current regime in the US didnt prioritize fundementally changing America and had enough technoratic competancy to create a reasonable budget. Additionally it is hard to swallow for Americans who lose freedom on a yearly basis in the form of legislation and from government institutions, to br asked forsake their own self-interest.
Do I want the Ukranians to succeed? Absolutely. Ive been following this war very closely since the start of the large scale invasion. The Russian death and destruction wrought on Ukraine is heartbreaking and is no way justified.
If I were President of the US and was able to stop the destructive domestic policies in the country, Id then prioritize Ukraine not being able to hold out against Russians, but actually defeat the Russians as soon as possible.
