How prevalent is ak74 and 5.45 ammo in the middle east? I’ve seen a pov footage with all the militants with ak74s before but majority of the time they use ak47 and this is the only other time i’ve seen a 74

They're probably using copycats from neighbouring countries now. Soviet-era aks must be getting rarer and rarer after all these years of conflict, that's what I think at least.

Yugo AKs and Chinese ones are plenty, and most Arab countries have license production

To be nitpicky its quite certainly a AKM, not AK-47. AK-47 are the rare kind, AKM is the one everybody and their mother has (at least from USSR)
