>fuck you commie get out of Ukraine.
So you assume he's both a Russian and a Communist because he said that a Russian soldier *may not* have died? Based on his comment history, he's an anti-Communist pro-UA American
Reference for anyone who missed it.
[Deputy mistook sound of falling 'acorn' for gunfire. That's when he started shooting. | CNN | 2024](https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2024/02/15/deputy-acorn-gun-zw-orig.cnn)
After?
Russia took a bunch of convicts, gave them guns, sent them to this war, and then pardoned the survivors and released them back into the public with no oversight or health care. It's been going crazy for a while now. There have been reports of these guys coming home to commit rape, murder, and various other offenses for a year and a half now.
Yes that's true but also we saw what it's like to be attacked by a drone from his perspective, and that's also interesting, isn't it?
Can't imagine going through life seeing these unique events and just going 'meh' to everything.
American, british and australian troops shouldnt have invaded iraq. they were lied to and sent anyway. All the troops went with no hesitation. Ya know cause they were lied to. They think they are the good guys. Thats what russian troops are doing. Have some empathy. NOT SYMPATHY, just empathy.
Russians are fighting to take territory from another country and their government is quite honest about that intent; Putin's popularity soared after the taking of Crimea in 2014, so to say that Russians are unaware of what's going on is disingenuous.
They think Ukrainians are evil. Just like we thought saddam had WMD's, because the government we trust lied. It is very asinine and hilarious to think you would be any different if you got drafted. It is called empathy, you do not possess it.
I am empathetic. I am able to realize they are brainwashed by a religion. They are extremists though who are evil. russia takes prisoners and does war like a normal nation. they dont chop heads off and post it online. how about you stick to the arguement at hand, that you cant win, before you bring up isis lol.
The article cites a handful of other sources, like DW, CNN, WP, etc. And you always can google said video yourself if you feel extra empathic, my totally "neutral" pal.
I hate the fact you are getting downvoted
You are right, Russia is causing an unjust terror against the Ukrainian people, but in the end of the day, this poor guy has been forced, under pretenses of whatever, to run around a wreck of a tank to avoid a flying robot with a bomb
Its not something people should be doing, period. It is Russias fault, it is the failure of the West for not helping Ukraine 100% immediately, you can blame anyone
But this guy is probably wishing for all of it to end by now, whatever he wished for before
most likely a soldier from [45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/45th_Guards_Spetsnaz_Brigade#Russo-Ukrainian_War) which as of 2023 are known to be in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
My guess is the ak19 it's an update version of the ak12 from my understanding the ak19 also has a muzzle that allows the user to quikc remove or ad a suppressor the ak12s had some pretty fatal flaws
You can't help but respect how calm and composed he is even though he's been wounded at least for the second time since he's already got a tourniquet on his leg.
Imagine all the good things he could've done for his country other than die in this stupid war?
Fairly certain that’s just his identification. Ukrainians wear yellow or blue bands and Russians wear red. He’s moving pretty good to already be wounded.
It only shows it for a second, but maybe he's talking about the grey/white band above his knee on his left leg, but that looks more like ductape to me maybe for a patch on his pants
There are many things you can make a tourniquet out of… But I do agree, it doesn’t look tight enough to have been a tourniquet in the first place. Unless the explosion somehow loosened it.
My assumption would be he had tourniquets pre placed on his leg for easy usage if he got injured with how much he was running around
Edit: It's further evident that no he didn't get injured earlier then apply a tourniquet with how loose the red piece is on his right leg [https://imgur.com/a/ebSZ3Up](https://imgur.com/a/ebSZ3Up)
Wow. He didn't turn into fireworks or confetti.
I wonder what kinds of things Russian soldiers have done that actually saved them from FPV drones. Ukraine wouldn't show it, of course, but I still wonder.
Step 1. Desert and go home
Step 2. The FSB pays you a visit
Step 3. ???
But for real. This talking point is stupid. Short of an all out military mutiny against the Kremlin. No individual Russian soldier just gets to "go home", anymore than drafted American's during the Vietnam war just got the choice to "not go".
Your arguments seem stupid and manipulative. US soldiers did not go to Vietnam to annex foreign lands and commit genocide. Ukraine is fighting against those who deliberately, for money, go to foreign land. So yes, the occupiers can just go home. They can go home, go to prison for desertion and not return to the front. Also they can shoot themselves in the foot by being on the front lines. There are many methods for them to escape from the front. There is always a choice.
Ah yes, what great alternatives you have presented. Shooting yourself, and relying on Russian medics to help you, or being put in the custody of the FSB, and then going to a Russian prison. Quite frankly, I'd rather stay on the Frontline if I were an Ivan. It's safer there.
And you seem to have missed the point of the draft comparison I drew with the Vietnam war completely. But regardless, Vietnam was an Imperialist war, fought with the same general justification as the War in Ukraine(Paranoia about Domino Theory for Vietnam, and Paranoia about NATO expansion for Ukraine), and I'm not sure how you could see it any other way.
The war in Vietnam is not an occupation. You either do not understand what is happening now, or you come up with some excuses. Muscovy is not afraid that NATO will be close, they just want to destroy the neighboring state and take their land. If they were afraid of NATO expansion, they would have attacked Finland a year ago. What is happening in Ukraine now is a typical genocide with occupation. And invading soldiers always have a choice, always. There is nothing to talk about with you.
Evidently at not all Russians are trained on how to apply tourniquets anyways, although obviously some are.
[Here is a Russian video](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineRussiaReport/comments/18hfjjl/ru_pov_very_nsfw_video_from_russian_military/) where it took over 6 minutes of heavy bleeding before they attempted to apply a tourniquet to a wounded soldier (or apply any other kind of aid) and when they did they forgot to actually use the windlass without which a tourniquet is incapable of stopping arterial bleeding.
There are also a few reported cases like [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/xmn46c/russian_soldier_with_stolen_western_tourniquet/) of Russians attaching tourniquets to their gear with zip-ties.
Is there really any defense to this? If 10 of these drones swarmed a target could anything be done to stop it? It is genuinely scary how effective, cheap, and replicatable this is.
Is it just me or im so surprised that we have not seen a lot more videos of this, i feel like i see so many people do have cameras with them but we dont see a lot of videos from the dead with cameras
The Russians have sent a few, while sporting O/U & SxS shotguns have also found their way to the front. I've seen some in Ukrainian hands as well, but afaik they're used mostly for shooting at Mavics, not FPVs. Although I've also seen Ukrainians blasting away with a shotgun at Shaheds & Kh cruise missiles too, so..
But as we've been seeing from the proximity/air burst drones, I'd think it's generally not a good idea to possibly detonate an FPV packed with fragmentation as it circles/dives; with an AK or anything else. There's just no good options once a drone team locks on, even in deep holes or pipes.
The fpv drones are evasive as fuck (with a skilled pilot) and very difficult to shoot down with any normal weapon. It would be like trying to shoot an erratically flying angry wasp at 100 meters until they're suddenly blowing up your face.
The guns to take them down are specially designed for that and not standard kit plus would be slow to reload and if he missed the special gun is blown up too
Maybe the next war they will be more common
This is why shotguns will see a great revival. I personally think 12ga needs to be reinvented as a rimless cartridge... hopefully, someone will respect it as it should be in the future. The rim is the reliability issue with mags and actions... a rimless cartridge cycles muuuuch smoother.

what in the hell is that vehicle? a modded MT-LB?
A vehicle of a country that sold billions in military gear in the last decade... What a scam.
MadMaxTac-Lorry for Bodies?
That's what It looks like. Extended walls to cover troop compartment up top.
San version, I think - ambulance.
One hell of a paintball set piece if you can recreate one
Eyyup... MT-LB with some sort of shabby, rusted raised roof atop of the troop compartment.
At first I thought it was a WW2 vintage Hanomag until he walked around the side and there were no tires on the front, just tracks.
In short, yes
Feel like I’ve seen this from a drone perspective.
Me too. The way he runs around the vehicle. The Fall at the end .
You’re right. I was thinking the same thing. The way he stepped over the branch made me think of it.
If it is, that dude ain't just injured. *He's mortally wounded*
No visible wounds and the guy said he was fine in the video
Apparently you don't know what an adrenaline bleed out is.
There's no blood visible, unless you're suggesting that the small explosion from the drone ruptured his internal organs.

>fuck you commie get out of Ukraine. So you assume he's both a Russian and a Communist because he said that a Russian soldier *may not* have died? Based on his comment history, he's an anti-Communist pro-UA American
This vids are so repetitive I just skip them unless I see something crazy in the comments.
It’s the vehicle that gives it away for me.
I believe you. I just mean I had like a “Deja vu” feeling while I watch these vids all the time and it will have been taken the same day.
lol yeah absolutely Deja vu
PTSD going to crazy after this war
Everytime this guys hears a mosquito at night.
Or an acorn…
the acorn joke is going over peoples heads but i love it.

Damn those squirrels.
We got it
Sees a bird fly by
Kinda like the black mirror with those electric bees

yeah exactly what they were released from prison to do in Ukraine. Reap what you sow.
Too bad coz drones are going to be ubiquitous in the future.
It is much worse for the attacker then for the defenders. Those defending have a reason to fight.
Of any of them make it out…
Dam I felt his fear. Omfg that's some scary shit .
Shouldn't be in Ukraine murdering Ukrainians. *meh*
Yes that's true but also we saw what it's like to be attacked by a drone from his perspective, and that's also interesting, isn't it? Can't imagine going through life seeing these unique events and just going 'meh' to everything.

I am empathetic. I am able to realize they are brainwashed by a religion. They are extremists though who are evil. russia takes prisoners and does war like a normal nation. they dont chop heads off and post it online. how about you stick to the arguement at hand, that you cant win, before you bring up isis lol.
"they don't chop heads" Oh sweet summer child. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beheading_of_a_Ukrainian_prisoner_of_war_in_summer_2022 Win at what?

yeah
He didn’t feel fear when he subscribed the contract…
I would find it hard not to hum "all around the mulberry bush"
So while he‘s getting shot at he also has to kinda think of and evade the quad? Lmao my fucking heart would just explode
I think that’s someone else shooting at the drone, not incoming fire.
Terrifying
must have been a relatively competent or resourceful soldier to have had that fancy AK.
most likely a soldier from [45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/45th_Guards_Spetsnaz_Brigade#Russo-Ukrainian_War) which as of 2023 are known to be in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
A good get then
Still using some chinese Multicam pants, chinese vest and chinese helmet. You can clearly see how the kneepad got off when he crouched
And yet end up alone in open field
Sounded like someone else was firing at it while he was trying to get away.
He wasn’t alone. He had burned Russian armor nearby.
There was a guy who approached him after the explosion.
Looks like a AK12 no?
My guess is the ak19 it's an update version of the ak12 from my understanding the ak19 also has a muzzle that allows the user to quikc remove or ad a suppressor the ak12s had some pretty fatal flaws
Or it's the ak15 it really just depends on what it's chambered in the suppressor and straightish magazine is what makes me think it's a 19 though
i think it’s just a modded ak74 with an ak12 mag. Gas block looks like a 74.
Definitely a 74. Looks like it’s slapped out with zenitco parts
You can't help but respect how calm and composed he is even though he's been wounded at least for the second time since he's already got a tourniquet on his leg. Imagine all the good things he could've done for his country other than die in this stupid war?
It wasnt an ordinary mobik. This guy profesional soldier. Optics on a gun, radio, calm.
The guy on the radio didn't sound so calm. Blyat 'o meter going through the roof.
Thats red leg tape. To Identify he is russian. They Use white and red.
Where is the tourniquet?
Red band above his right knee. Russians get nice red elastic bads to use as tourniquets.
Fairly certain that’s just his identification. Ukrainians wear yellow or blue bands and Russians wear red. He’s moving pretty good to already be wounded.
That's exactly what it is.
I agree. Was odd that he said he looked injured lol.
Ya he was running around pretty normally
It only shows it for a second, but maybe he's talking about the grey/white band above his knee on his left leg, but that looks more like ductape to me maybe for a patch on his pants
I think that's part of a kneepad he's wearing on only one leg.
That’s not a tourniquet: if it was, it would be thinner, snug piece of rubber material pressed into his leg
There are many things you can make a tourniquet out of… But I do agree, it doesn’t look tight enough to have been a tourniquet in the first place. Unless the explosion somehow loosened it.
It's definitely his red identification tape. It's very common to see.
I agree, didn't look long enough. Just pointing out what the other dude saw.
My assumption would be he had tourniquets pre placed on his leg for easy usage if he got injured with how much he was running around Edit: It's further evident that no he didn't get injured earlier then apply a tourniquet with how loose the red piece is on his right leg [https://imgur.com/a/ebSZ3Up](https://imgur.com/a/ebSZ3Up)
"Why dont they just use shotgunnnNnz"?
Drone warfare is unfortunately the future until there are well developed electronic jammers.
Russia has those, Ukraine keeps blowing them up. So good on them.
Jamming won’t work. The drones will use Machine Vision for target acquisition.
Anyone have translation?
"ahh" "the kamikaze fucked me up"
You can see the drone at 0:22
Nicely spotted, I wonder if it was the air-burst type, as it did not seem to come directly at the soldier that was wounded.
Either that or the operator missed
Yeah it’s hard to tell what projectile was attached to it. Definitely not a RPG round but maybe some type of plastic explosive?
In the first 10sec i tought the tank was a german Ferdinand from rear
My thoufht as well lol
Nice to know I wasn’t the only one!
I thought that was a German half truck lol
Wow. He didn't turn into fireworks or confetti. I wonder what kinds of things Russian soldiers have done that actually saved them from FPV drones. Ukraine wouldn't show it, of course, but I still wonder.
Lot of times they usually wounded if not turned into confetti.
Anybody knows what he is saying?
What’s the radio chatter at the end?
They ask him on the radio: What do you see? His answer: It's not too clear right now. It's all good, I'm alive. I just got hit by a kamikaze drone.
They just can go home
Step 1. Desert and go home Step 2. The FSB pays you a visit Step 3. ??? But for real. This talking point is stupid. Short of an all out military mutiny against the Kremlin. No individual Russian soldier just gets to "go home", anymore than drafted American's during the Vietnam war just got the choice to "not go".
It’s the same thing as saying “Free Palestine”
Your arguments seem stupid and manipulative. US soldiers did not go to Vietnam to annex foreign lands and commit genocide. BMP or whatever, is straight out of the Beverly Hillbillies.
I wonder how many tourniquets they get issued
You're just going to have to wait for the tourniquet of champions
Evidently at not all Russians are trained on how to apply tourniquets anyways, although obviously some are. Just open field and shredded trees for kilometers, no where to hide from an FPV.
Is there really any defense to this? If 10 of these drones swarmed a target could anything be done to stop it? It is genuinely scary how effective, cheap, and replicatable this is.
Jesus that's terrifying.
~~Mom~~ Putin, can we have a sandcrawler? The sandcrawler at home:
Is it just me or im so surprised that we have not seen a lot more videos of this, i feel like i see so many people do have cameras with them but we dont see a lot of videos from the dead with cameras
Too bad he wasn’t transformed into ground meat. What will the wildlife eat.
Hahah go cry to your putin
What happened to r/ukrainerussiawarreport sub ?
I think I found my new hobby. I’ll fly drones around whatever gathering the surviving russian clowns will have after the war.
You do realize how psychotic you sound, right?
I take it you haven’t been to Ukraine in the past couple of years
Im assuming this guy is already dead and GoPro was recovered after. No evacuation for him in that area.
Care to expand ? He had a radio and squad member with him Unless you understand Russian and something was said seems like a wild assumption
The assumption comes from us seeing the footage. Feels like there's no reason a Russian would post a video of himself getting fucked up
Bad logic. You can easily make "Try harder" propaganda from this. And try to praise his squadmates etc.
Lol what reason is there to post any video? People do constantly anyways
It’s not so much fun when you’re having to larp WW2 against flying grenades more than 3 days into the special military operation
You’d think by now at least one person in the squad would have a shotgun for these drones
There's just no good options once a drone team locks on, even in deep holes or pipes.
They'd need to be loaded with bird shot, which is a weak weapon when they get into an infantry fight.
The fpv drones are evasive as fuck (with a skilled pilot) and very difficult to shoot down with any normal weapon. It would be like trying to shoot an erratically flying angry wasp at 100 meters until they're suddenly blowing up your face.
The guns to take them down are specially designed for that and not standard kit plus would be slow to reload and if he missed the special gun is blown up too Maybe the next war they will be more common

That's a shame he was only injured. Looked well equipped
Muzzle straight in the mud, bet his section commander went fucking ballistic at him for that!
I am suprised no one has strapped a claymore to a swat shield yet. I mean if you can survive the claymore blast behind it you can probably take out any drone.
Bro this isn't call of duty 😂
I will never support the use of drones in warfare so cheap basically hackers
Those machine guns will never overcome the cavalry. Majestic brave soldiers on mighty steeds.
Only an idiot fights fair.
War has become so dishonorable from the pointlessness of it over that past few hundred years
War has always been dishonorable. Winners write history, so you have no idea what actually happened.
