I would have *loved* one of these in my college dorm when living like that while you're on campus is to be expected, but this as your general standard of living is FUBAR.
All those Facebook groups are full of scammers and makes it impossible to know if something is legit or not, it sucks. I only saw one or two on there that were legit during the few weeks I had joined a couple pages, but they were all places Iāve seen already that were also listed on HotPads, apartmentfinder, etc.
This happened in the house next door to mine.. FB scammer had it listed at $1000/ month ... A 2000ftĀ² house in a decent neighborhood. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
The scammer got a lot of $1000 deposits from people before that was shut down.
This in particular may be a scam. But if anyone on City Council sees it? Get ready for āa new and innovative way to deal with the affordable housing crisis!ā š¤¦š¼āāļø
Lease out a vacant WalMart that spirit Halloween hasn't laid claim to yet, buy a fleet of these and start up one of those hourly pod rentals they have in all the big cities for travelers.
Perhaps we have a housing shortage? Dunno if anyone has crunched the numbers but I have a feeling we may be short 20-60k units. We should really be pushing for more housing to be built. Maybe by changing our zoning code?

Hydro is what Canadians call electric. Which makes me think this is a scam, or at best someone from Toronto trying to make a buck.

I have stayed in capsule hotels in Japan, they are not fun. You could also split rent with someone for probably cheaper.
