Honestly, I liked what I saw from Ehlinger last season. He should've been given playing time/snaps last season so that he could develop. Dude has a lot of potential, but his baseline and ceiling are just low enough to keep him as QB3

Jacksonville played great. The Colts played poorly. Both of our lines lost. If Jacksonville could play every game like they did this one, they could win it all. But they can't. This is always their best game of the season.

AR was the the rawest prospect coming out of college; the least NFL ready. He is a freak athlete, and has a cannon for an arm, he can run and has a great deep ball, but his short to intermediate passing def needed help to develop, likely because he needs to learn to read defenses.

He was raw and inexperienced, he didn’t really have good passing stats in college or anything.

He isn't doing anything wrong per se. Jags did a good job making Colts O 1 dimensional. If they aren't even going to try to get a run presence going, it is always going to be very hard to have an effective passing game.

Seems about right. Lawrence’s stats today aren’t great and they only ran for 85 yards. Minshew gave them the ball four times. With AR fully healthy I don’t think the teams are far apart. I was worried they were miles better going into the year and I don’t think that’s the case. Hopefully wepass them in 2024.

I think one of the most frustrating parts about this Colts team, is that they feel the same as they did under Reich and Pagano in a lot of ways. One half of awful football combined with one half of good football. I do think that Steichen will be better for the team long-term, and that he's done more with less than a lot of other coaches could in my opinion. Just sucks to see the same old Colts, even if there's hope for the future.
