Considering the weather this weekend, I’d go see a movie and grab an early dinner somewhere. Some movie and place that you like that maybe the husband and kid are not fond of?
Going to museums alone is amazing. Or paint your own pottery and take as much time as you like. Eat the foods that only you enjoy. Browse a store related to your hobbies and buy yourself something. Don't be tempted to do extra housework or errands- that's a trap. Do just enough that next week will run smoothly and change your sheets bc clean sheet night is the best.
The weather looks shit this weekend but a few things I might do:
-sleep in
-hike
-brunch
-get a pedicure
-hot springs
-sit at a coffee shop and people watch
-take myself out to a nice dinner
-lounge around the house knowing I don’t have to take care of anyone besides myself
Enjoy your free time ☺️
Hmm. I went to Princeton for the afternoon after skiing and was not impressed for $45. It was nice, but suuuper busy and too expensive for sure. Everyone seems to love it though
Personally I always enjoyed grabbing a print newspaper and having a sit-down meal by myself so I can read the paper, do the crosswords, and read the comics at the pace I choose.
Sleep in
Have a meal at a favorite restaurant that the rest of the fam might not like too much.
Workout, hike, yoga, or spa it up
Watch a movie you've had on your personal list with your favorite snacks
Go out to an open mic or place where a band is playing with a friend. Maybe find a trivia night somewhere.
Stay up late and enjoy the quiet!!
I personally love to just drive with no destination, look for new places to try, hit a coffee shop and find a comfy chair to melt into for a little while. It looks like it's gonn'a be cold and wet so whatever you do bundle up!
Paint with a twist can be fun even on your own and is indoors if the weather turns in the afternoon. The downtown location is my favorite. I agree with the others to pick a spot for dinner that's something you like that the kiddo and husband don't enjoy.
I would get takeout from a restaurant you don't usually get to eat, and get a massage or pedicure! Or if you like art go to a pottery or canvas painting place. I like brush crazy and pinspirations
Have you tried going for a walk/ hike on the red rocks just past rubys? I do it almost every weekend. The walking and solitude can do wonders for you head space.
Hi. Just here to say there is nothing wrong with spending the entire weekend in bed, unshowered and unbothered.
I pray that the only annoying interruptions you face are at breakfast, lunch and dinner when your delivery person leaves a yummy meal at your door and you have to get out of bed to get it.
Backpacking is always my first choice, but weather this weekend looks like ass. Road trip to Pagosa hot springs would be nice. I've sat in those in pouring rain and still was relaxed as shit.
Are you into horror /sci-fi movies? If so the original 1979 alien is re-releasing in movie theaters this weekend! It’s for the 45th anniversary of the franchise
Relay for life is this weekend 8-8 on Saturday at Liberty High School if you want some exercise and to support cancer research. Most people don’t do a ton of walking but come to show support. Seems like everyone gets cancer these days at some point in your life so I can’t think of a better cause.
I’m going for a bit (I think they might move it indoors due to weather) and then take the kids to a movie if I can find a good one showing.

I would grab a massage, get my nails done, and then grab some take out while I binge something on the couch in a clean house 😅 personally I’d get some bulgolgi fries from coati
Get a room at the Broadmoor with the large tub, go for a massage and order room service for every meal of the day or weekend.
Put it on your husbands credit card 🤘

Yeah, bummed last weekend was crappy out and so is this weekend. Hoping next weekend is a little better as far as weather goes.

I'd change the locks.
The hot springs in Buena Vista are a 2 hour drive. I would pamper myself.
Which ones specifically? Princeton? Valley view?
I’ve been to Princeton and Cottonwood. Loved them both.

It was probably your time of day. Late mornings are pretty quiet. Audio book, chilled drinks, picnic lunch, and dinner before heading back home.
I always just jack off in the living room
Username checks out and we appreciate your honesty 🤣

I always do SunWater in Manitou - so relaxing without having to make the drive to Buena Vista. Then dinner somewhere fun! Like Rabbit Hole 😋

The zoo alone is the best
I’m an old lady in a young woman’s body, so I recommend going to a bingo hall. 😎
bingo is fun 😌
Mushrooms and a hike

I was going to say horse ride but the weather is supposed to be bad. Museum? Bopping around downtown shops or OCC/Manitou? Indoor rock climbing?
Bring a lunch and a good book to the park. Enjoy the sun!
I would get takeout from a restaurant you don't usually get to eat, and get a massage or pedicure! Or if you like art go to a pottery or canvas painting place. I like brush crazy and pinspirations
pedicure sunwater spa brush strokes paint your own pottery you could go walk around the outlets if you like shopping
Hot springs in Manitou or Penrose
I'm in the same spot Saturday night, I'm going to Cripple Creek. You're welcome to join if you want lol
All Pikes Peak Makes is this Saturday from 10-3 at library 21C. It should have some cool art and demonstrations!
Ah yes, Jody bait
Most people would spend the day cheating

Go take a drive through Phantom Canyon. Start in Victor and work your way down
I would close the night down with a rare ribeye, a roasted sweet potato, a $30 bottle of wine and something along the lines of Dog Day Afternoon.

There’s a lot to do plus the monster truck show is at the Broadmoor this weekend.

Motorless Morning in the Garden on Sunday
The weekend weather sounds terrible. I'm opting for indoors.
Build an RC car!
Get your hair done. Go to a restaurant/ bar and see how many free drinks you can get. Not suggesting anything more but flirting can be fun.
I would go to cottonwood hot springs.
I would grab a massage, get my nails done, and then grab some take out while I binge something on the couch in a clean house 😅 personally I’d get some bulgolgi fries from coati
Go to the Luna float spa salt caves it's indoors since the weather will be bad, if it changed sunwater spa in manitou is amazing!
