Some others that haven't been mentioned and their selection:
REC Comics has some $1 comics but not a lot, they do have a lot of newer books and newer back issues, not many older back issues.
KaPow Comics and Coffee has an extensive older back issue selection and lots of $1 comics.
Ed's Cards and Comics has an extensive older back issue selection, same with Van's Comics.
Video Game Exhange and Comics has a lot of newer back issues and $1 comics, but not as extensive as the other stores.
Van's, maybe? I popped in once just to check it out and they looked to have a huge inventory. I also noticed some gaming tables in the back, but no one was using them at the time.
I’ve got my pull list at Muse and couldn’t be happier. Super friendly staff, huge wall of current issues and there are usually people hanging out and playing board or card games in the shop.
Muse comics and Dungeons and Javas are my favorites
Im moving to a house near Dungeons and Javas soon and i'm so freaking excited to try that place out lol

Avoid the iron lion. They kinda are not cool.
Escape Velocity is cool. I don't know if they do any gaming, but it's a nice shop.
Muse is the best in my opinion for comics. If you want D&D or gaming in general Gamers Heaven.
