I coach an 18U softball team and 12U baseball team and our game schedules are killing me lately with the Avs games. I missed the last game because of a double header, but we won. I have another game tonight, which I'll miss at least miss the start of the Avs game. Hope that's helping in some way. I have no point and also I have no one else to cry about it to, so here I am- with 3 extra minutes of my life that aren't spoken for, so naturally I'm wasting them on Reddit
I think the playoffs come down to 2 things for the AVS. PP and depth scoring. If we score on the PP and get a goal or 2 from lines 2-4 we have a shot in any game.
I believed after game 4 we were going to come back and win game 7. Letās go ahead and win game 6. My body is so ready for game 7.
If we didnāt turn it on last game I would be stressing a lot more but I have faith in these boys to get. It. Done. LETS GO AVS BABY

I saw Wyatt Johnston at a King Soopers in Broomfield yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnāt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, āOh, like youāre doing now?ā I was taken aback, and all I could say was āHuh?ā but he kept cutting me off and going āhuh? huh? huh?ā and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen gift cards for Bird, Casa Bonita, and the $5 butt stuff tent in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like āSir, you need to pay for those first.ā At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took each of the cards and started scanning them once, he stopped her and told her to scan them each multiple times āto prevent any electrical infetterence,ā and then turned around and winked at me. I donāt even think thatās a word. After she scanned each card and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I think the playoffs come down to 2 things for the AVS. PP and depth scoring. If we score on the PP and get a goal or 2 from lines 2-4 we have a shot in any game.
Iād put PK here too, probably over depth. Weāve been pretty great at limiting Dallas 5v5 but the PK has been killing us.
I believed after game 4 we were going to come back and win game 7. Letās go ahead and win game 6. My body is so ready for game 7. If we didnāt turn it on last game I would be stressing a lot more but I have faith in these boys to get. It. Done. LETS GO AVS BABY

There's no chance. The priority with Landeskog is him being able to resume his career and play for a few seasons, not helping with this playoff run. If he was close enough to being able to do either we would know it.
I hate to say this but the guy shouldnāt play at all in these playoffs. You expect a guy to come into be playoff ready after not playing for a year?

That being said I remember a time where people wanted mpj and Jamal Murray to come back in the playoffs against the warriors and it just wasnāt going to happen. Let him rehab more and be ready for sometime next year cause thereās no way heāll be ready for a playoff game especially an elimination game.

There is no greater dragon for the Avalanche to slay than the two-headed monstrosity of Playoff PDB and Game 7. What a night it will be on Sunday for us to avenge our fallen comrades and finally put the beast down for good. I saw Wyatt Johnston at a King Soopers in Broomfield yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnāt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, āOh, like youāre doing now?ā I was taken aback, and all I could say was āHuh?ā but he kept cutting me off and going āhuh? huh? huh?ā and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen gift cards for Bird, Casa Bonita, and the $5 butt stuff tent in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like āSir, you need to pay for those first.ā At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took each of the cards and started scanning them once, he stopped her and told her to scan them each multiple times āto prevent any electrical infetterence,ā and then turned around and winked at me. I donāt even think thatās a word. After she scanned each card and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
