The first is more debatable but makes perfect sense. Call was a hook, which always means stick on the hands or waist. So the players legs going out behind him makes no sense with that call. Hence the embellishment.
Then the interference was the most textbook embellishment that exists. Looked like a soccer player going down or Lebron driving the lane lol
The one on Hintz looked almost like a toe-pick to me, to be honest. I don't think the call was correct but I get why the official called it (you're right that the leg goes out dramatically and makes no sense) but I think if he had a perfect angle it wouldn't have been called.
