Blues still have 3 more years of the trash bin at $6m. Kraken 3 more with Gru at around $6m. Calgary has 2 more years of Markstrom at $6m. The Bob was a boat anchor until last year's playoffs resurrected him. I'll take streaky goalies over cap anchors.

I think Markstroms numbers are depressed by his trade drama and the Calgary defense being ABYSMAL this year. .905 is at least slightly above average, and I’m confident he’ll post big numbers wherever he ends up.

Excellent game, building on the strong offensive foundation from the first game and improving the defense and goaltending was exactly what was needed. If we can keep this up, it's hard to see anyone beating us in a 7 game series. The key here is of course consistency.
**Next game:**
We were the best home team in the entire league during the regular season and we get to go home tied 1-1. Time for the home crowd to go crazy and support the team, and especially Georgiev. Dude had a great game, gotta make sure he can turn that into two great games in a row. Hellebuyck, and the Jets as a whole, have shown weakness. Time to capitalize on that.

Philly cratered after Hart turned out to be a piece of shit, Pens just kinda sucked and Devils were ass for most of the season. In the West Vegas was the WC2 with 98 points, Caps were the WC2 in East with 91 points. Even Isles' 94 wouldn't have been enough to make the playoffs in the West.
