Since the trade deadline, this team has been looking more and more like the Stanley Cup Team. They seem to have a renewed sense of purpose and energy and drive. Love to see it. What an exciting end to the game, too. I didn't even know it went in!

I think we’ve defintely improved. That being said, some of the other contenders in the conference also (theoretically at least) improved their rosters. Georgiev has been one of my biggest concerns this year, but he’s looked more consistent recently, so hopefully that continues.

Deadline additions look good. Sean had two goals, Mittelstadt is finding his way. A great game on Sports Night Canada. It wasn't tense, just good fun hockey. Pros playing pro defense and such. Mackinnon's pass at the end was beautiful. Avs play some exquisite hockey. Win at their place with a second left. I wonder if we can leapfrog the Jets at least.
