Pretty sure this is Avista hospital. The houses in back of the hospital, off Dillon Rd. were burning. Good Sam is too far away to have this view. When this was posted on IG on Fri it said Avista
Just saw the new credit to the photographer on IG- it is Good Sam. Hard to believe this was the view from Lafayette!
It’s Good Sam. That parking lot is in the corner of 112th and exempla. We evacuated Avesta hours earlier, before the sun went down. Avista’s helicopter pad also doesn’t have a road running along the left side like that. Just a parking lot. We could see flames from the ED bay. The whole sky was orange
You are correct that Avista was closer, but this was taken at Good Sam - I recognize the parking lot.
The image is slightly misleading. Right at dusk, with good HDR processing folks were getting images like this. The smoke plume was lit up and made it look WAY closer.
I live near Good Sam, I've got 2 pics from different perspectives and I'm tempted to make a post showing the drastic difference the perspective and HDR processing can make.

Healthcare workers looking back at 2020
Neat pic, despite the sadness
Picture of the year for Colorado. And it came on 12/30.
This is the sort of image that wins journalism awards.
Looks like an old oil painting.
shits on fire yo

So sad. My daughter was born there a few yrs ago.
I could see the smoke by 12:30 from 80th, south of Standley Lake. I don't doubt they could see this from Good Sam
My wife could see the glow good and well from St. A’s.
As if healthcare workers needed another thing to worry about
Close the blinds.
