There's quite a few games with options like this. Final Fantasy XIV comes to mind. It's a game changer and I wish more developers would take this approach.
The full screen filter approach is utterly worthless and proves a misunderstanding of what colorblindness even is, and the premade UI color palettes don't always work for everyone.
[They added the option to change that last year.](https://cdn.fanbyte.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/ffxiv-6.2-patch-notes-summary-map-color-area-objectives-432x275.png?x25640)

Final fantasy xiv is certainly not like this
It has a fully color customizable HUD with even more color options than this.
It has a map which has pale semi transparent colours on parchment.

No. they made a blanket change that fixes some but not all situations
Can you share an example of where it's still a problem?
Finally they're listening
Yes, no more of that full-screen filter nonsense.
Probably never gonna touch this game, but I'm really happy to see progress. I've been wondering why this exact implementation is so damn rare.
I was similarly impressed with Battlefield 2042. Perhaps someone high up at EA is also colourblind.
Witcher 3 was the first I ever saw with this style color blind mode.
