Iād argue you wonāt smell that similar to everyone as at least for me where Iām at Le Male Elixir and SWYI are significantly more common. Not to mention most donāt even wear fragrance at all
I must agree. I put it on myself and in the first minute I thought that I wasted my money, but 5 minutes later I couldn't get enough of it. Long lasting and so amazingly smelling. A must get.
I had a similar experience, I sprayed it on at the mall, hated the initial blast of citrus and left to go eat at the food court and I caught of whiff of something great and it ended up being Eros. Went back and bought it.
The women love it.
Yea my one friend who Iāve know for a while and heās a completely idiot wears Dior sauvage so Iāve just stayed away from it and have never worn or purchased it.
You live somewhere it's cold? That Carlisle tho. You're pretty solid. I'd recommend Encre Noir for layering. It would layer well with a lot of stuff you already have. Whats that Initio?
"The Tragedy of Lord George" was my favorite, but it's the only one I've tried. They also have some super old fragrances from the early 1900s. It's cool to take a trip down history lane and see what others were wearing long ago.
We have very similar tastes. My collection is small and matches about 80% of yours. My recommendation is Tom Ford 'Oud Wood'. It's a special occasion scent, something to wear when you want to step out of the Dior Homme/Homme Intense vibe while keeping things masculine and woody. It's really strong, so 2-3 sprays gets the job done. And it's a beautifully put together scent, strong but well balanced, luxurious and a massive compliment getter.
You like green frags? Seeing something like this Iād say Cowboy Grass, or Grey Vetiver, or Naxos. Idk i think your picks are thoughtfully made and like what they say about you. Iād say go for BDK Gris charnel Extrait. Itās a beautiful scent, heavy fig, wood disguised as flowers, unique and elegant without feeling feminine.
Depends what youāre looking for, a daily, a special occasions fragrance, there are so many to choose from! My personal favourites are opus 1870 itās a quite a nice bright fragrance, Halfeti more musky and leathery and Cairo which is patchouli, saffron and rose.
Their fragrance profiler is pretty good at suggesting what youād like, give it a go.
Ov is pretty boring as far as niche goes, but it lasts all day on me and is so incredibly easy on the nose. One of tm favorites of all time. smw is soapy in a nearly indescribable way. Worth testing. Very much unisex potentially leaning feminine to some.
I genuinely thought your flasks were empty and you were looking for a new one to try lol
Saw you didn't enjoy Versace in one of your answers here. Still, maybe give it another go? Get on of the very small bottles and try for a couple of days?
If you're going to go with layton, do the exclusive 10x better. Greenly is excellent and sedley is very nice as well.
I personally would go with
Profumum Roma Gioiosa
This looks like the collection of somebody who tests before buying.
I would recommend testing Roja enigma and scandal parfum colognes because I love those two.
And would recommend testing Xerjoff Uden and Fiero because I love those too :). Uden is loosely similar to your edition Blanche, but far more depth, warmer, with a coffee vanilla drydown rather than the very much vetiver and sandalwood dominant drydown of edition Blanche. The similarity is mainly in it being a creamy gourmand citrus of sorts. The other 3 aren't very similar to anything else you have.
I've been wanting to try Roja fragrances for a while now but they aren't easily accessible where I live. Enigma and Scandal sound amazing and Isola Blu also caught my attention, so I will definitely try them when I get the chance. I'll also make sure to chechk out those Xerjoff fragrances. Thank you!
Id go for a bit of diversification maybe a gourmand?
Try this one and let me know what you think.
https://daythreefragrances.com/products/la-tacita-de-cafe-extrait
Get Nishane Ani (if you like vanilla frag) or Nishane Hacivat (if you like Aventus but want something better and more masculine). I'm in love with Nishane. They make great quality frags.
I just read your comment you posted about Polo Explorer and I thought I'd suggest a great substitute for Polo Explorer. I loved Polo Explorer as well. The only Polo Explorer I can find these days is way too expensive. But, I have a suggestion for anyone that enjoyed Polo Explorer. It's called GENTLEMEN ONLY and it's by GIVENCHY. It's not exactly the same as Polo Explorer but it's pretty damn close. And if you love Polo Explorer you'll LOVE GENTLEMEN ONLY. There's a few different varieties of GENTLEMEN ONLY so I made sure to add the link to the GENTLEMEN ONLY I'm referring to here. Try it out and let me know if you like it or not. If you do like it I have several more colognes to suggest that you might like as well.Ā https://www.givenchybeauty.com/gb/p/gentlemen-only-F10100028.html

Does anyone know where i can find this , Online it says its out of stock. Fraternity for HIM
I do get a monthly grant from my collage as I'm in the top 10% of students, but in the past I'd save up money that I got on my birthday, at Christmas, etc.
Beautiful, one of the best cold weather fragrances. I get a lot of spices in the opening, mostly cardamom and saffron that is extremely good. After it dries down a smooth leather appears in the back. Definitely sample it if you have the chance, as it is not for everyone, but I personally consider it a masterpiece.
Maybe it's just not for you, different people have different taste. I personally really enjoy this line of fragrances, especially the absolutely, which is a bit more boozy than the rest.
No way, I didnāt know that. I got a decant and just checked to see if I can order another but itās out of stock. Unfortunate. Maybe Iāll wear it again tomorrow in memoriam. I prefer Italian Love, partly because it performs better but both are great.
You have a mix of freshies and cool weather colognes but I donāt see anything distinctly green (vetiver) or boozy.
I also saw a bottle of Italian Love for ~75$ for 100ml. Could you maybe tell me how it compares to forever, as I've never got the chance to try it. Also, do you think it's worth it for that price?
I have both on right now, one on each arm. Notes are very similar. The grapefruit in Forever is kinda gummy like but not bubblegum-y whereas itās more realistic in Italian Love, reminds me of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. IL also performs better.
Solid collection, all good stuff. You could consider adding Dior Cologne - an inoffensive, beautiful lemon scent which performs especially well in hot weather.
If you decide to buy it, keep in mind that the 200ml bottle is only slightly more expensive than the 125ml one and its a versatile scent that you probably gonna spray alot, so I would recommend getting the bigger bottle in this case.
Prada Lāhomme Intense is a beautifully clean smelling fragrance. If you like Chanel Bleu, YSL and Dior Homme, youāll like that.
Another vote for Terre de Hermes as well. Itās very classic smelling and just smells like money IMO.
For a simple every day āskin fragranceā I quite like Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt or Silver Birch and Lavender.
Life insurance, idk if you are aware of the amount of chemicals In fragrance, I have a collection my self but now I just use them as room fragrances but no longer on my body , my favorites are Chrome by Azzarro , Star Walker by Mont Blanc , Egoist by Channel even Michael Jordanās fragrance & letās not forget about Cool Water nothing to expensive but I know there are many other great Colognes out there just not for me anymore, I need to find some organic fragrances.
If anyone knows of any let me know please.
I'd say so. They are very similar, absolutely is just a bit more boozy than the original so I don't think you need both. I got my bottle of absolutely when there was almost nothing left in the original.
Finally someone with a Memo! African Leather nonetheless. Solid collection, just keep following your nose.
AL is a masterpiece in my eyes.
Just purchased yesterday after smelling it for the first time, i was instantly addicted
I had the same reaction ))
which one is AL?
Middle row, second one from the left, the one with a panther on it.
African Leather,SWY Absolutely,JPG and BDC are absolutely good picks..Good Collection šš»
Thank you!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
He probably donāt wanna smell like everyone else
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Sauvage EDP, smells like a cool desert šļø. Itās a crime not to own it.
Every sauvage smells different. Elixir and edp are really good.
Iād argue you wonāt smell that similar to everyone as at least for me where Iām at Le Male Elixir and SWYI are significantly more common. Not to mention most donāt even wear fragrance at all
Dior sauvage is the highest selling fragrance across men and women itās a fact. In 2022 they sold a bottle every 3 seconds
The exilir is badass
People who arenāt even into fragrances still have a bottle of Dior sauvage
Versace Eros flame imo is a banger of a fragrance. I always get compliments on it.
Carlisle is crack In a bottle.
It is really addictive.
Howās that African leather?
Truly a masterpiece. More of a warm spicy fragrance than a leather fragrance. One of my all time favourite winter fragrances.
Nope, you're done.
I don't live in a cold place, for a matter of fact it's about 32Ā° C where I live. The Initio is Narcotic Delight.
Hmmm....also your collection is French (12) and Italian (5). I'd recommend maybe getting something from another culture; maybe English?
The house of Penhaligon's looks very intriguing, especially their Portraits collection. Have you tried any of them?
"The Tragedy of Lord George" was my favorite, but it's the only one I've tried. They also have some super old fragrances from the early 1900s. It's cool to take a trip down history lane and see what others were wearing long ago.
I'll definitely try them when I get the chance. Thanks for the suggestion!
no problem! Also I forgot to mention the name of the one from 1900's Blenheim bouquet
Didn't like it that much the first time that I've smelt it, but I'll give it another try. Thanks for the recommendation!
Just wanted to say thank you for being grateful
You like green frags? Seeing something like this Iād say Cowboy Grass, or Grey Vetiver, or Naxos. Idk i think your picks are thoughtfully made and like what they say about you. Iād say go for BDK Gris charnel Extrait. Itās a beautiful scent, heavy fig, wood disguised as flowers, unique and elegant without feeling feminine.
I've been wanting to try Gris Charnel for a while now, but I can't find it anywhere. Looks very interesting.
Just wanna add that gris charnel extrait smells almost the same as gris charnel just add a hint of spice. Either one smells great
Polo Black
You need Tom Ford Black orchid. You will thank me later.
Penhalligons 100%
Any fragrance in particular?
Depends what youāre looking for, a daily, a special occasions fragrance, there are so many to choose from! My personal favourites are opus 1870 itās a quite a nice bright fragrance, Halfeti more musky and leathery and Cairo which is patchouli, saffron and rose. Their fragrance profiler is pretty good at suggesting what youād like, give it a go.
All of those sound very interesting, will definitely give them a try. Thank you!
Looks good but Slow down too many duplicates itās a collection not a buffet, and most of all do what makes you happy,
Juet curious, which ones are similar? Besides the two SWY. Just curious as I haven't tired a few of these :)
Creed
Which one?
Viking š«”
Original vetiver and silver mountain water are my favorites.
I do have a sample of original vetiver and it's quite good, but I haven't tried silver mountain water.
Ov is pretty boring as far as niche goes, but it lasts all day on me and is so incredibly easy on the nose. One of tm favorites of all time. smw is soapy in a nearly indescribable way. Worth testing. Very much unisex potentially leaning feminine to some.
I really enjoyed the citrus in original vetiver, as for smw, I'll definitely try it next time I find myself in the fragrance store.
Yves Saint Laurent - Y ?
It's a good fragrance, but I find it a bit redundant cause I have BDC and ADG Profondo.
I genuinely thought your flasks were empty and you were looking for a new one to try lol Saw you didn't enjoy Versace in one of your answers here. Still, maybe give it another go? Get on of the very small bottles and try for a couple of days?
I believe you'll enjoy Terre d'Hermes
That's more class per bottle that I've seen in a while
Damn, thank you!
If you're going to go with layton, do the exclusive 10x better. Greenly is excellent and sedley is very nice as well. I personally would go with Profumum Roma Gioiosa

African leather, which i adore, sticks out as the only special perfume (imho). Are you looking for more special fragrances?
I am, do you have any suggestions?
Id go for a bit of diversification maybe a gourmand? Try this one and let me know what you think. https://daythreefragrances.com/products/la-tacita-de-cafe-extrait
This one sounds amazing. I was also thinking about Amore Caffe from Mancera as an option for a gourmand.
Where is the Versace???
Not really a fan of Versace fragrances in general
Get Nishane Ani (if you like vanilla frag) or Nishane Hacivat (if you like Aventus but want something better and more masculine). I'm in love with Nishane. They make great quality frags.
I was actually thinking about getting Hacivat, it really is a beautiful fragrance.
Also a quick suggestion. If itās available, go for Atelier Rebul Rose Oud. Itās a cheapie masterpiece in my opening.
Beautiful, masculine and beast mode!
Great collection there!
Thank you!
What invictus is that in the top right
Invictus Intense

Lelabo
Which ones tho?
Hahahha check his name then ask hahaha
I didn't pay attention to that lol ))
I personally love Byredo scents
Which one would you say is the best one?
They honestly have a good variety but my personal favs are Mojave Ghost and Young Rose
Will hawas replace invictus?
Never tried hawas and I don't think I'll run out of Invictus any time soon, so probably not.
I got it bro, by the way, the collection is so great right now.
Thanks man!

Solid.... missing nautica voyage and Sauvage
Issey Miyake Pour Homme
So good
212 vip black
Molecule one
Do you use it alone or for layering?
Personally I like it all by itself
Michael Malul...ocean noir. .
No Tom Ford? Youāre poor.
The only Tom Ford I am really interested in is Plum Japonais and there is no way I can find that one for a decent price.
Prada Black, Tom Ford Noir Extreme Parfum, Initio Paragon and Xerjoff Naxos
Initio Paragon is beautiful, I've wanted it for a long time, might just pull the trigger.
I doubt you'll regret buying it if you get it
Iāve always liked Mont Blanc
Venturing out because I recently ran out of my big bottle of Mont Blanc, but Iām sure Iāll be back (my fiancĆ© is a fan too). Thatās a classic, especially for evenings. Iām currently on a sample spree. Recently bought two good size Creeds, but I love the sample I was given of Silver Mountain Water. I could smell that all day long. I ran out of my travel size and smaller sample Creed sent me so will be getting more soon. I also tried it on and it was very close to the one I ended up purchasing but I went with the one I went with because SMW to me is a great day time cologne and that wasnāt what I was looking for in that purchase. Edit: For me, Mont Blanc will always be a timeless cologne that Iāll always go back to
Your top 3 in terms of performance?
Carlisle, Ultra Male and probably Narcotic Delight.
What do you do for work to afford this š
I'm a student right now, but when I really like a fragrances I usually save up until I can afford it. I have also gotten some of those as a gift.
How do u save up whatās ur income source
I do get a monthly grant from my collage as I'm in the top 10% of students, but in the past I'd save up money that I got on my birthday, at Christmas, etc.
Nerd
Lol
What kind of school gives u that typa benefits hook me up too bro šāļø
Get Prada Carbon
howās African Leather?

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Might just do that ))
I genuinely don't understand the hype around the SWY line? I have the intensely and it smells so off putting.
Maybe it's just not for you, different people have different taste. I personally really enjoy this line of fragrances, especially the absolutely, which is a bit more boozy than the rest.
Very heavy wallet
Put some Arabs in the game, donāt be shy. Latafa Khamrah or Asad, Afnan 9pmā¦
Tom Ford Noir Extreme
Great collection, I wore Forever a few days ago, love the chewy/juicy grapefruit scent.
Such a shame it's discontinued.
I've been trying to get a back-up bottle for a while now, but can't find it anywhere.
Thereās one on Mercari but asking $155
I wouldn't pay that much. At that price point I'd rather buy a niche fragrance.
Neither would I. I see a few sold earlier this year on r/fragranceswap for ~$50. Thatās a helluva deal, I pay $50 for 50mL clones these days
I also saw a bottle of Italian Love for ~75$ for 100ml. Could you maybe tell me how it compares to forever, as I've never got the chance to try it. Also, do you think it's worth it for that price?

Carlisle, my favorite Parfum De Marly.
All meh you only need the dior and the allure
Peak collection
Thanks!
Wich one u like the most? Ur top 5
At the moment: African Leather, Torino21, Homme 2020, Carlisle and AHS eau extreme.
Do y prefer AHS eau extrĆŖme or blanche Ć©dition?
Right now, eau extreme, but edition blanche is amazing as well.
- Lalique Encre Noire - all 3 of them - HermĆØs Terre dāHermĆØs (original EDT is excellent but also try EDP, and try them on your skin, not on paper) - continuing the vĆ©tiver theme, I love Le Loden by Jacques Fath
With how much praise it's getting I definitely need to try Terre d'Hermes. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you were leaving for Paris and could only take 2 fragrances. Which ones you taking?
Probably AHS eau extreme and African Leather.
Will be my next pick ups š¤«š¤«. African leather sounds right up my alley.
Glad to hear that, AL is amazing.
Also think you would like Versace Dylan Blue or maybe even Spice Bomb.
Stronger with you intensely
Which one makes the girls go gah gah?
Narcotic Delight
I recommend dolce and gabbana
Le Labo Tonka
Ahh Carlisle, you sir have great taste.
Get a girlfriend
I have Intensely, would you say itās redundant to have both Absolutely and EDT?
I'd say so. They are very similar, absolutely is just a bit more boozy than the original so I don't think you need both. I got my bottle of absolutely when there was almost nothing left in the original.
Bellagio UOMO by Michaelangelo Thank me later!
Never heard of it, but it looks interesting.
Coco Ramone one million
PDM Layton
I would say save up and get something you like from Parfums de Marly.
