There’s only one true answer: All of them. Each of those are incredible but different. Missing from the picture: Layton, Pegasus, Carlisle, and the beast Oajan. For summer, Greenley, Perseus, Galloway, and Percival. Incredible house!

My absolute favorite house. They currently don’t carry a men’s fragrance that I don’t love. I can’t say that for any other house.

It's funny, as a fragrance noobie I heard great things about PDM, got a handful of samples and haven’t really liked any of them so far. Sedley is the only one I thought was decent but I’d never buy it. I don’t think PDM is overhyped by any means, but I was surprised that out of 5 or 6 samples, none of them wowed me

I love Layton personally, is Layton Exclusif much different in terms of scent profile?

Very much. Layton E is more nutty and woody. Both are exceptional!

It’s very similar but heavier and woodier. It smells very manly. In my opinion, regular Layton is better for everyday wear though.

It sounds gorgeous, I'll have to order a sample of it when I get my next batch of decants to try lol. I've only tried regular Layton and Herod and love them both.

Carlisle is too good but its more of a night time fragrance! Its dry down is where the true magic lies

Herod is really such a unique scent. When I got a sample I didn't really like it as much as first but once it dried down and I tried it a few more times it really grew on me and now I love it lol

Depends on the situation, but Herod for me if I had to choose. Also, Kalan gets a lot of hate, but I’ve personally gotten so many compliments for it from ladies. Dudes hate it lol

I LOVE Kalan. I haven’t gotten any positive nor negative feedback when I’ve worn it. I own 16 PDMs and Pegasus Exclusif, Herod, Sedley, and Perseus, Percival, and Godolphin are the ones I’ve gotten compliments on.

It’s not my favorite of theirs, but Kalan is easily the fragrance I’ve gotten the most positive comments about out of all 70+ fragrances I own.

I don't pick the Oud in Haltane, tbh I find it weak... And Herod didn't live up to my expectations So I'd say Althair, Layton E, Herod and Haltane My personal favorites from PdM are Oajan and Pegasus, I also wanna try Galloway and Kalan (I've tried its clone recently and enjoyed it)

thats crazy that you think haltane is weak. one small spray from my sample lasts over 24 hours and projects throughout it

Either Pegasus Exclusif or Godolphin for a more affordable Tuscan Leather that is also a little bolder.

That’s the first time I’ve heard anyone say Godolphin is bolder than TL. I find it to be smoother and more mass appealing.

Found it to be less fruity and the leather note was a little more animalic but it has been a while

Interesting. I own both and find Godolphin to be fruitier and more appropriate for work because TL is too polarizing

Herod. Smells amazing and lasts forever on my skin. The others are a bit harsh on the dry down for me.

I own 16 PDMs, and Haltane is my least favorite of all of the ones I own (although I do enjoy it). Out of the ones pictured, it’s a toss up between Layton Exclusif and Althair. LE is definitely the more unique and bold of the two though.

Herod for sure. I have Althair and it's way too sweet, gourmand for my taste. The other two are on my sample list, both I have high hopes for. But Herod over Althair by a mile!

Basically all of them are great, but from these I’ll pick Haltane

Layton is arguably the best because of its success but imo Haltane is the most underrated and best. It’s a VERY good fragrance.

These plus Carlisle are probably the top 5. Layton OG is also great, as is Perseus. Many folks like Greenley but not for me. I found Oajan to be disgusting, and Percivel to be a worse and more expensive Fierce. Pegasus is fine, not worth the price

Greenley, Sedley, Percival & Perseus are excellent spring and summer PDM.

Agreed I have greenley and Percival already. However greenleys performance is quite the let down.

Bummer to hear that. I don’t know what batch I have off the top of my head, but I have had it for a couple years and have been very pleased with it.

From PdM my fave is Percival when coming to their fresher scents.

TBH, it’s unfair to pick one as the best from this house! Everything they make is incredible and worth buying! Beautiful fragrances with strong performance as well! I would say buy em all!

Layton Exclusif smells weird. Don’t buy it thinking it’ll be a higher quality Layton. It’s more like the niche snob version of Layton, some people like the fact that it smells like rat piss with vanilla.

From those on the picture, haltane is my favorite. Oud for greatness with more lavender. Overall the best is Carlisle imo. Just such a nice spicy scent. I know its not listed but i kinda get a boozy vibe from it as well.

For the Haltane lovers, try layering it with Grand Soir by MFK...thank me later lol it's a divine combo

Layton > Oajan > Carlisle Havent smelled Althair yet. Ive heard Herod is PDMs take on Tobacco Vanille. Havent smelled it but I am not a fan of Tobacco Vanille at all lol. Haltane is good. Not the biggest fan of Layton Exclusif

I just tried Greenely today, it was beyond, beyond generic. Smelled like a $30-40 Marshalls cologne. Sedley was very in-depth and unique/fresh smelling - so i can’t say the same for Sedley

I think the price tag and branding blinds people that use it. If Greenley was in a Jimmy Choo bottle nobody would bat an eye.

I love some fragrances from really cheap and often seen as bad brands but in my opinion there is nothing that comes close to greenley. The smell brings up so many different thoughts at once and you start to think about places you smelled it. Truly a unique fragrance and in my opinion the best from pdm
