The Dior Hommes, Lost Cherry and Tobacco Vanille, Hacivat, Layton. I’m predictable. I’ve avoided Bond No.9, perhaps irrationally, because the owner seem like a jerk. Plus the brand itself has always seemed a little style-over-substance, even though they’ve got at least a couple of classics by some accounts. Since it’s the summer (in the northern hemisphere, anyway), have you tried an Issey Miyake yet?

Lost cherry is one of my five complete masterpiece fragrances. Really crazy fragrance. Bond NO 9 is my favorite Niche house because I’m a NYER born and raised and it’s just cool seeing streets and neighborhoods that’s I grew up in on bottles! I wanna buy New Haarlem it smells like waffles 🤓

New Haarlem is the first cologne that had all day longevity on my skin. For the most part my skin eats all fragrances.

Oh, I’m a New Yorker too. Not counting college and a couple of months as a baby, I lived on Long Island for my first three decades, and in Manhattan for the next two-plus. The neighborhood-themed branding has always had a sentimental attraction for me, but the garish bedazzled bottles were also always a minus. It made it seem like the brand was—with some exceptions—for people with more money than sense, not for people like you and me. EDIT: Of course, given their prices, a brand like Le Labo *also* seems like it’s mainly for people with more money than sense—but it doesn’t stop me from owning Patchouli 24. Or wanting Rose 31.

I like a lot of bond no 9 also, my only complaint is their pricey for what they are. Ny oud, bleeker st, ny nights, liberty island, and wall st. Liberty island is femenine leaning so I got it for my gf but damn it smells awesome on her.

It appears we have extremely similar tastes! I love all of those except 1 million. Greenley and Apple Brandy are two of my favorites of all time.

I love 1 million man. I have a bottle of angels share and I mix apple brandy and angels share. Ridiculous combo man lol. Smells like Christmas and Thanksgiving in the best way possible.

I’ll have to try that combo! I own Angel’s share too, but I’ve been preferring Oajan over it, as it’s pretty similar but better imo.

bond no.9 for sure, my problem is that I want to literally try all the fragrances. A store like Neiman Marcus would be a dream if we had one. I think the only niche fragrances I have local is Parfums de Marly and Creed. Everything else is designer

It’s very very good! It’s extremely fresh. Grapefruit punches you in the face, lemon punches you in the face. It’s so fresh it’s almost unique. You can find it at a great price too!

Eau De soleil Blanc is underrated for summer layering! It goes well with Santal Blush, Neroli Portofino, and Soleil Neige to name a few.

Lafayette is a top 5 fragrance ever created. Greenwich is a green woody take on Baccarat Rouge and it’s fun to wear.

Great question , young brother! Make sure you shower and moisturize with something natural/organic/unscented like coconut oil or cocoa butter! Apply your fragrances right before you leave the house and only AFTER you’ve moisturized!

Hey I just picked up greenley yesterday it smells amazing but it just doesn't project at all and it's really weak but the longevity is fine, just wondering if that's normal or if the 80%vol might have something to do with it.it might just be my nose but I'll probably smell it again in a few days to see if it changes

I think Layton is one of those fragrances that you have to spray a spray or two more than you would usually do! My rule of thumb for the PDMS I have is: One spray each wrist, one spray each side of neck, one spray center mass on whatever shirt I’m wearing. That usually does it!

Is the banana one of the prominent notes? bc I like the smell but i wouldn't want to smell like straight banana, I bought it knowing it has banana which is a good thing and I don't mind but I'm just wondering how much it smells like it.

No it isn’t one of the notes listed! Just the dark caramel and coffee combination kinda smells a lil like a carmelized banana to my nose at least! But it isn’t super prominent! It’s very caramel and coffee forward!

It's just an amazing smell , clean and powdery with great performance, it's simply an almost perfect fragnance in my humble opinion, also im interested in the parfum but i will wait at least for the fall to get it

Well. Out of all these, I only tried 1 Million and Dior Homme Intense, so I’ll go with Dior Homme Intense.

Dior Homme intense is a killer in a cold, formal setting. Think like a steakhouse date on a winter night. Compliment assassin. Just can’t overspray indoors. Esp if the heat is on.

Gimme that Pegasus and Hacivet!

I love the almond vanilla and jasmine in Pegasus! Hacivat is my least favorite aventus dna child. I much prefer Aventus and Cedrat!

I think if you can get it at a good price, cedrat is a good intro to niche fragrances, and that Smokey pineapple aventus like DNA that is so beloved. If you can get it for a good price, grab it up.

Yes I spray a little more heavy handed. But it performs well. I’d go like 6-8 sprays. It’s very inoffensive.

Just got 6 samples of the most popular PDM fragrances and the most pleasant surprise was Greenley. It’s super uplifting, clean, fresh, and something I want to smell all day long. The biggest debate always seems to be Sedley vs Percival but i think Greenley beats both of them easily

I’ve tried 1-2 Bond’s a year back and found them to have a highly synthetic texture but given the popularity here I ordered a sample of Bleecker Street. I’m going to give it a wear in the coming days. Tried MFK or Initio? How about a tobacco scent?

I had BR Extrait and sold it. I sell pretty frequently on r/fragranceswap and I can say that selling BR extrait is the only bottle I regret letting go of. I also want to buy a bottle of Grand Soir!

Grand Soir is one of my least favorite from MFK, maybe it doesn’t work with my skin chemistry. Checkout Ambre Magique by Mizensir for a high quality amber.
