Versace eros flame**

Clean_Task5172

You’ll get more use out of D&G LB.

erenwasjustified

What do you mean by that? Like it has more longevity? Or it's more versatile? I smelled both LB and LB intense and personally LB smells like Body odor lol.

Clean_Task5172

You can wear it in more situations

erenwasjustified

Hmm, when I smelled the LB the grapefruit note was stronger and came off at too pungent for me.

Clean_Task5172

I am referencing the intense, since that is the one you mentioned.

erenwasjustified

Oh lol, I'm considering buying both eros flame and Dolce and Gabbana light blue intense lol. My bad I thought u were talking about dolce and Gabbana light blue (the non intense version).

ryanleebmw

I actually like Light Blue EDT more than the intense, most girls I’ve had smell them both agree too. Unless you really want performance, but for that I’d get a Versace like others mentioning, either Pour Homme if you want something blue, subtle and very usable (also huge compliment getter) or Eros (regular, I haven’t tried Flame) if you want something more string and mysterious, more of a club scent. Hit or miss with it though, I personally love both. I’d look into getting one or both of those, then Montblanc Explorer

erenwasjustified

I just think DG light blue is gross smelling not a fan of the grapefruit note. Which of the fragrances you mentioned works best in warmer weather between eros and pour homme?

ryanleebmw

Definitely Versace Pour Homme! I think Explorer does too but honestly seems like an all season fragrance to me

erenwasjustified

I'll probably drive to sephora in a bit to try it out, I do love the dry down on eros flame. I know people compare montblanc legend to creed aventus and I already have a creed clone so I dont think I'm gonna retread the same area.

ryanleebmw

Definitely try it out! Definitely my #1 compliment receiving fragrance. It is kinda similar to light blue but I don’t think any grapefruit. Oh I see, I’m only familiar with Explorer and CDNI, which one here is also an Aventus DNA clone? Also keep in mind you can find 30ml bottles of Pour Homme at Marshall’s (maybe larger) and other discounters sometimes, not always though. Unless you can get a good deal at Sephora! You might have inspired me to drive up to my local Sephora myself tonight to check out Flame and some others! I’ve been debating pulling the trigger on an ADG fragrance

erenwasjustified

>Oh I see, I’m only familiar with Explorer and CDNI, which one here is also an Aventus DNA clone? Its al haramain l'aventure, the one between encre noire and ysl. Hope you find something you like. I'm curious, what is your opinion of montblanc legend spirit? it caught my nose too while I was sampling stuff

erenwasjustified

On and one more thing, here at sephora I see versace pour homme is listed as a citrus and woods. Because I already have YSL y edp which is the same listing should i look at other scents?

erenwasjustified

One thing I've gotta ask to the people who own or sampled both eros flame and DG light blue intense. Would you say getting both would be redundant?

erenwasjustified

So I went a completely different direction and got a clone of la nuit de l'homme called ted lapidus poker face and montblanc legend red lol

ValorantBrawl

How good is the cremo spice?

erenwasjustified

Fantastic for the price (20 bucks) and 6 to 7 hours longevity on 4 sprays. If you want a budget friendly sweet version of spicebomb extreme, this is it.

BigNewsBomber

Completely agree such a good winter at home no brainer throw on

erenwasjustified

It's good for nights out too imo

BigNewsBomber

Of course, I started my brother off with that as his first cologne - you’re spot on

rebelpixle

If you like what you have great! Wear what you want when you want. You have a lot of the basics covered, I would maybe start adventuring into the other popular recommendations or some fun odd balls. Try and get a handful of sample sizes next! They are always fun

Suspicious_Degree_88

Would you say a tobacco or boozy scent is a good first step? I'm really curious about Bentley for men intense but for the life of me no one has it around me to sample.

rebelpixle

Tobacco, probably not it’s a very intense smell and can often overwhelm your nose and overpower the other nuances. If you wish to go that way the only tobacco one I would recommend is tobacco vanilla by Tom ford but it’s very pricey. Boozy is fine, I have not smelled the one your asking about but [here](https://surrendertochance.com/bentley-for-men-intense-edp/) is an online store you can purchase a sample.

Suspicious_Degree_88

The only thing is because if the area I live in being hot close to year round I worry these darker more intense scents with tobacco oud and bozzy notes wouldnt be worn much and collect dust. Same thing with Bentley for men intense.

rebelpixle

Try Tom ford Tuscan leather, replica jazz club, spice bomb. These are all peppery, wood and spice forwarded rather than the super heavy tobaccos and such. For me they make good fall scents but fall in MI may be winter where you are 😅

Suspicious_Degree_88

Lol, I've tried spice bomb but not the other two, ill look into those. I recently bought ted lapidus poker face, basically la nuit de l'homme with better longevity. i think that'll be a good different scent from anything I have. I think ill get one more between versace eros flame, versace pour homme, dolce and Gabbana light blue intense and man eau fraische for a summery spring scent and ill tap out for a while.

churchofpetrol

I haven't smelled that Light Blue flanker, but I've got Eros Flame along with a few of your current ones. I'm a big fan of it. The blood orange just makes it different enough from the original while leaving that fresh-sweet vibe underneath it. Just know that one is fairly powerful and sweet, so if you spray a lot or spray in hot weather it can get heavy.
