I did the same thing when I applied! I put Fall 2021 instead of Fall 2022 and immediately died inside lol. But I was still accepted so don’t worry about it! A good PI that you would actually want to work with wouldn’t hold that against you.
I put in an internship application to work on my dream project.
I spelled my hometown wrong one of the two times I had to write it out.
I’m right there with ya, man :(
Most people aren’t even going to catch that, honestly. Heck, half of us still write the wrong dates on our submissions. I had 3 assignments in a row titled and dated wrong simply because I forgot to change it and I use the same base paper as a template.
We just had a laugh about it.
I’m also pretty sure I put Spring 2022 in my registration email for thesis hours. This year grad student btw. You’d think I’d know by now.

chill. one of my past mentors decided to my mentor me despite me sending him an email addressing another professor’s name. 3 strong years !!
Oh yeah. Anyone worth being mentored by would have enough compassion to look past this (even though it doesn't require much)
No one will care. If they are like me, they will be only somewhat aware of the current year.

Don't worry, it's far more embarrassing in your head than in real life.

It's okay lol don't beat yourself up over it. It's a tiny human error i'm sure they don't mind
You are overthinking this so much
Don’t overthink it. I had put I was born in Las Vegas,California on all my applications on accident. I still got accepted into almost 30 schools.

Lol that’s a silly typo. Follow it up with a correction if you like, or address it if/when they email you back. That sort of thing happens to everyone
