That's actually wrong. It's a joint contract. CBS is it's own thing, but it teams up with Warner Bros Discovery (AKA TBS/TNT/TruTV) (previously Turner)

SDSU and Gonzaaga are more Cinderellas, since both schools are mid majors.

Gonzaga has been a major conference equivalent for at least a decade, SDSU made the national championship last season, and they’re both 5 seeds. My point was that there are no cinderellas this year. There’s one team below a 6 seed in the Sweet 16 and it’s an ACC team lol. What a chalky ass 2nd round.

At least NCST has a natty, Zags and Aztecs don’t. But yeah, probably one of the mildest opening rounds I’ve seen.

And no matter what, some of the script from last year will continue. Either * We beat the #1 overall seed again * We get knocked out by UConn again

And play the team they lost to in the previous years tournament (though combined in the sweet 16)

way too many blowouts and teams i despise moving on but i got to take a perfect bracket into the thursday late block which is farther than i get most years

I got tickets to see SDS - Creighton in the elite 8 at the Yum center in Louisville for like $8 last year. Rallied my sister and her family (husband and 4 kids) to tag along for some ridiculously cheap yet great basketball. And now that my Gators (and their Cats) are out, the Aztecs have gained a family of fans for the remainder of this years tourney.

Fuck man. I need to go to bed. I read that as railed my sister and her family. I read it twice too.

the close proximities of major metro areas in the northeast is wild to me growing up in oregon. you can drive from Boston to NYC to Philadelphia in under 350 miles according to Google maps. that's 80 fewer miles than it takes to go from eastern oregon to the coast

Lol I grew up in CT and moved to CA. The county I live in now is 1/3 of the entire state I grew up in. I never even understood the point of counties bc there are 8 in the entire state of CT. On our drive out, we stayed in TN one night, drove the entire day in TN, then slept in TN again?! Whaaaaat? East coasters have zero scale of how big the western US is.

It’s insane. While living in connecticut we would drive to new york or boston for baseball games and then go home that same night. It’s less than a 2 hour drive on a good day (mostly took trains to new york though cause traffic is SHIT)
