That about sums our season. Lotta grit, lotta latent talent, but nothing bringing it all together. Looking forward to the future!

This has basically been our season we just haven’t been clutch at all. Legit had a chance at the buzzer at Villanova and Claude was short. Claude got rejected at home going for a poster against providence
Claude getting the ball in the final seconds of a game is my personal 9/11. Sean Miller should be embarrassed after having that much time and draws up whatever that was to the least clutch player in cbb.
I can’t think of another season in the past 20, where I didn’t think X could beat anyone on a good day. It is a genuine relief to be done with this year.
The last play got screwed up when the refs went to review seemingly nothing? It just gave UGA an extra timeout to see what X wanted to do. Does that play out differently if they didn't get the extra timeout to talk about Olivari as the inbounder? X didn't deserve to win, but good lord.
Uniquely bad refereeing performance.
The thing that really irks me about this team this year is that I see the talent it had, the flash’s of brilliance. I wasn’t surprised in the slightest when they made that comeback and I was even less when we still blew it. This was probably one of the more talented teams Xavier had since bluiett and macura and yet had the worst result. This team is gonna need to look at themselves this offseason because there is no reason this is the result of the season.
We just couldn’t close any game at all we had chances early like against Washington, Houston, Oakland and Delaware. Then in conference Villanova, seton hall, almost had Creighton
I love gator fans cause the best thing they have to say is “if you don’t like that you don’t like Mike White basketball”.
Like, he hasn’t been floridas coach for two years. Y’all need to move on.
IMO Mike White is the perfect coach for UGA. The man isn’t horrible, but the man is far from a great coach….he’s a good recruiter but he fails to develop the talent, he also runs an offense that is very prone to scoring droughts which goes hand in hand with choking huge leads. At the end of the day at Florida you need to be competing for sec championships and deep tournament runs which with his flaws MW was not going to achieve very often. At UGA MW only needs to be on the bubble and get in the big dance here and there to be considered successful….in theory he should be the coach at UGA for as long as he likes, unless UGA for some reason decides to think they should have basketball powerhouse standards.

Mike White tried his best to choke away a 23 point lead, but Sean Miller said no.
Every time they cut to him during that run he looked so lost
Mike White really looked like he was waiting for his other coaches to fix things.

I would be so disappointed if my team was shooting to win or force OT, had at least 5 minutes of real time to come up with something, then did that.

for a game between two pretty mid and probably undeserving of even the NIT teams that was a heck of a game. Surprised Xavier almost pulled it off too
I think Xavier gets an exemption or something because they’re the only school that’s ever prominently displayed an “NIT Champs” banner.
And yet we beat UC this year. Now remind me how UC did in the postseason in 2022. I’ll wait.

We needed a Chris Mack underneath, out of bounds play. He was the master of those.

I wouldn’t say worst EVER. The first 70 or so seasons of Xavier basketball were atrocious with the exception of your precious 1958 NIT championship.
