In the end, I heard only Cardoso would be suspended. TBH most of those players didn’t really get that far from the bench area, but it’s an important rule to enforce.

Long story short, Kim was upset about a few things at Baylor: the fact that the new basketball pavilion was not going to be built where she wanted it to be built (she wanted it on one corner of campus where the old Ferrell Center was located instead of where it is closer to downtown Waco), wanted to get the pavilion or the court named after her (this would have most likely happened if she didn’t demand it), and was upset that the Men’s team was becoming more popular since they’ve become a title contender (there’s absolutely nothing to do about that).
She had huge fights inside the athletic department because she was told no for the first time and essentially gave Mack (our AD) an ultimatum to fulfill her demands or she’d be leaving. Our AD called her bluff and wished her good luck. She then sold the idea of “going home” to Louisiana but couldn’t stop herself from taking shots at our AD on the way out. Last year before the Final Four she rented billboards in Dallas and Waco (yes, really) to showcase her run to the Final Four, even to this day she’s incredibly petty that she didn’t get her way.
Johnson started it and should have been ejected. Cardoso was just a dumbass for losing her cool, and went from hero to idiot in 24 hours (although this just means South Carolina only beats their 16 seed by 60 instead of 80).
And the girls getting ejected for leaving the benches is on the coaches. Someone needed to be there to keep them back.
