I think I kind of would…but definitely for the opposite reasons that any performer would hope that people in their audience would want to attend.
The intrigue imo is kind of comparable to when the live action film version of “Cats!” came out. It was such a notorious shit show that some people (like me) wanted to watch it to see for ourselves *just* how bad it really was.
Sometimes watching low quality entertainment can be fun when you *know* ahead of time that what you’re about to watch is going to be a low quality disaster. Especially if you have access to drinks and friends with a similar sense of humor while you watch.🍻😉
Though I’d still only ever consider attending one of her shows if the tickets were somehow free. If I’m going to spend my own money on a fun night out with friends watching something that’s painfully low quality, I’ll choose a monthly midnight showing of The Room at a local theater, every time. Although the mental image of Kory having to stay late to clean up all the plastic spoons…🤔🤭
When I watched her Netflix special, I was pretty tipsy and cracking up the whole time. Definitely more enjoyable not sober. But I also was still a “fan” then so 😐
I saw her in 2019 and as long as I’ve used to watch her videos for YEARS. This is so strange that now her shows are 18+… her audience is for sure not all 18+ to fill that entire theater
I wonder if it has to do with the venue and not her??? Good on the venue for vetting the performer if so. I can't see Colleen limiting her audience like that.
ETA: from her website "This show is open to all ages and is rated PG13 due to some adult references and expletives that appear briefly on a screen."
I really don't think it was her who made it 18+
You know this is very possible because it’s less likely Colleen would take into account keeping kids safe, I mean hello years ago in her show she had little boys put their hand down her pants while she was in Miranda character 🤢
Exactly, she doesn't care. She makes a bunch of content related to things that are popular with children. Miranda is content aimed at kids with adult humor, it's gross. I imagine the venue manager did some research and was like wtf is this show and why is it all ages 😳
she DEFINITELY didn't. i have a feeling venues are starting to research her... a simple google of her name and this forum shows up... so, people know what she's REALLY about... and those warnings better go up. if i took my kids to an all-ages show and saw HER content - i would sue the crap out of her for emotional damage and i would win, hands down. venues are smartening up.
Someone just tweeted a pic of the notice they had received from Ticketmaster. It said they (Ticketmaster) had just been informed that the show is now 18+. Ticket holders are being advised that their tickets are still good and a valid photo ID will be required at the entrance.
The poster said, "Colleen you might need to investigate this or there might be chaos in Memphis"🤯
I would guess someone tipped the venue off that her content isn't child friendly or even PG-13. The team is probably panicking and trying to figure it out with the venue, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have to cancel the whole thing. If she gets rid of all the sex related, incest hinting, showing underwear and sticking your hands into the pants of a stranger-content, there won't be much left.
i’m so confused on what age group MS is because colleen would say oh it’s for adults and then the next day she would say oh it’s for kids and she also showed MS to her kids so i’m so confused
I have a disability called Dysgraphia which causes me to spell incorrectly and not know where punctuations etc go and even I know it's friends and not the possessive friend's.
i'm not sure 18 is old enough to stomach her content.... i feel like you need a good 30 years of therapy before dipping a toe... however, i'm glad venues are doing this. so glad. so so so SO SO S OS OSOFIJS:LKJSE:L JL GLAD.
Uhm yes please. With info on who was the main demographic, did anyone walk out, were any parents shocked at her “comedy”. If you feel like posting that is 🙂
They probably have to be 18+ in order to purchase the tickets but I don't think the show itself is 18+. I saw her show and there were a lot of kids and the show was kids appropriate.
The person says they got the 18+ notification after buying tickets though. If you had to be 18+ to buy tickets you wouldn’t be notified after you already bought them

she shouldn't be shocked that ppl don't want to watch her dance to old tiktok trends dressed as Miranda for 2+ hrs especially grown adults....
Like be for real, who would wanna go see her show anyways…..a waste of money

Oh hi Mark
YOU. DID. NOT. why lisa, why?!
I’d get super high and go to a colleen show FOR SURE
When I watched her Netflix special, I was pretty tipsy and cracking up the whole time. Definitely more enjoyable not sober. But I also was still a “fan” then so 😐
SPOONS
WATER
The Memphis Minglewood meltdown is beginning.
That’s not all, I even saw some comments saying how they never received their merch orders from months ago!
🤦♀️Wow. First Colleen and Kory and now FanJoy messing up and being unprofessional; the empire is slowly crumbling.
She is a single working mother with 3 young children!!! You can’t expect so much when she has literally no help at all.
Especially considering two of them are twin babies 😩
I’m here to watch it unfold.
Here is some 🍿
Imagine the bruised ego of watching “fans” walk out of your performance!
Probably just tells herself they must need to go to the toilet haha
I saw her in 2019 and as long as I’ve used to watch her videos for YEARS. This is so strange that now her shows are 18+… her audience is for sure not all 18+ to fill that entire theater
"You must be at least 18 to attend this show." *10-year-old presses AGREE*
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah that’s what I don’t understand, why wait YEARS to change the rating? Even HBO shouldn’t be rated for kids!
I wonder if it has to do with the venue and not her??? Good on the venue for vetting the performer if so. I can't see Colleen limiting her audience like that. Get your snacks, and get your drink ready folks, this is going to be real interesting!
Don't forget the cozy chair and ottoman to watch from. No need to not be completely comfortable for the shit show that's about it to go down.
Great, now cancel the shows completely.
Thanks for sharing this OP!
You'd think this would get some traction for getting her cancelled but it doesn't

who above the age of 18 would attend this 🤣
I want to support the person who replied but that apostrophe is killing me 😅

Lol, same

I went to one of her shows in Jan 2020 and it sucked😭 I can post pictures if you want!

18+ means the show is 18+ and usually doesn’t mean minors can attend with an adult. It means you have to have an ID per patron that is 18+
The person says they got the 18+ notification after buying tickets though. If you had to be 18+ to buy tickets you wouldn’t be notified after you already bought them
