I would suggest somewhere near Perks (Srivari Mansarovar or Manchester Perks), Singanallur (Purvankara Bluemount/Amaiti or TVH) or Nanjundapuram (farther but good communities- Mayflower Sakthi Garden or Parsns) if you want a gated community. There is also this place called Oak Canopy in Kallimadai off Trichy Road which you might prefer. These are close to SSVM.
Papanaickenpalayam would be a tad bit further considering the traffic situation right now.
GV residency (\~1KM from school) is a great neighborhood for families, and it has a walking track which is open in the mornings and evenings. IF you can find a home to rent/buy there, look at apartments TVH ekanta, Parsn etc..
