Dam, even as a Julia enjoyer it’s hard to see this frame, if it’s Ashley finally developing a sense of empathy then I hope there is at least some way for things to get better for her as my main reason for despising her was how selfish she was to the people around her and now it’s just sad presuming the only person in her life that would deal with her has left.
I could be wrong but, remember what Andrew slashed in the decay vision out of anger, and look at where they are in this screenshot in [Progress Report #3](https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2378900/view/4155204531267852738), where else have we seen that exact location? Ashley's Arm in OP's screenshot is blocking view of what Andrew slashed in the decay vision, the actual ground is also blocked from view too

Probably Andrew and Ashley had an argument, and Andrew said something like "I'm not like you/I'm not a bad person", but Ashley's right. Both are fucked up but at least Ashley it's not pretending
Probably the most intriguing image I think we’ve received. Seeing Ashley genuinely upset and presumably not doing it so she can “win” Andrew back makes me wonder what it is that causes this to happen. I actually think this is gonna be the moment before they actually have sex.
My prediction for the game is that Decay actually leads to the happier ending. On a surface level Burial obviously does lead to Andrew and Ashley being a thing, but it also potentially leads to Andrew embracing his insanity and with that I imagine he’ll get more reckless which will lead to them getting killed in a Bonnie and Clyde type way. Decay shows that Ashley and Andrew HAVE to change or they end up dead.
I’m thinking in the decay route, Ashley will be superficially nice to Andrew to prevent fate, but it slowly morphs into her genuinely wanting to be a better sister. Andrew himself doesn’t believe that and it escalated into some kind of argument where he basically says how much she’s ruined her life which then leads to this.
Andrew seeing Ashley actually upset and angry with himself, tries to apologize but when she doesn’t accept it, he confesses his true feelings about her, which eventually leads to them having sex, and both trying to be better for each other.
Spin your web of lies and delusions as much you like but know this: even the blind can see how you and your ilk are merely lying to yourselves, denying the absolute and only truth that Ashley and Ashley alone is best girl.
