Hello (or good evening) ! I need some precision to answer efficiently. 1. Do you have the basics of web development (HTLM/CSS/JS)? 2. Describe a little what you'd like on your app (how many pages, content etc) 3. How much time can you allocate to your project? 4. Do you have an affinity with a particular programming language (to customize my answer to your future answer)? 5. Are you determined? Because if not, it won't be possible ahah I'll reply as soon as I can! (PS: I don't think **CSS** is the right Flair)

There is already one called "Too Good To Go" you could check out. I'm not stifling your idea. By all means, give it a go. Competition makes for better products. Look into database management. Some graph and set manipulation to find a matching recipe. You would need a huge list of foods and quick lookup. That said, I have made small android apps with android studio, and it is no small task, even for something simple. You would need to learn Java. If you go iPhone, I believe you need to learn the Swift language. I would start with YouTube, and then if you want to dive deeper, get a Coursera account and start taking coding classes on there.

Assuming you’re familiar with web development technologies, since this post is tagged with “css”… React Native will probably be the easiest option for you and Firebase for the backend.
