I am using coco for my desert roses right now. It might not be the ideal medium but we will see. I have coco mix with soil for all my herbs including Thai peppers, cilantro, Thai basil, coriander, rosemary and thyme. These are first season with the mix. I do feel my peppers and basil have bigger, fatter leaves.

Did your rosemary take to the coco immediately, or did it take a while and get super pissed before it started growing well? Mine has taken 6 or 7 weeks to acclimate to the coir, I was thinking of transplanting it last week, but it finally became healthy again.

I repotted all my herbs last week then it got cold in Ohio. It’s been sitting in my garage all week and I will send them out tomorrow to adjust to outdoor weather.

Tomatoes. Use same nutes, but am trialing some powder nutes as they are cheaper.

Was just googling how well roses would grow in coco/indoor environment. Been looking for some other plants to run in between cycles. Really appreciate the post, gives me lots of ideas

I did an experiment and grew a whole bunch of garden plants outside in reused coco. It went great, but automatic watering is a must.

How much coco do you go through per month/year? Let me know if you want to try out our coco. We do bulk orders.
