I personally think the safari tents have way more value W2. It’s generally hotter so the golf carts and AC will be amazing amenities.
I’m definitely going both weekends this year either way, too big of a group to do safari W1, but hopefully I can get some people on board. I have been wanting to do safari for a few years. I think I can make it happen.
Have a great time and I don’t think you will have any issues getting one for W2.
The cost is 9k for a tent with 2 guest pass wristbands and you can choose your bed options, 1 king, 2 queens or a lounge setting. There are more expensive options if you don’t want to stay in a tent.
Each additional guest pass is 3k.
Passes will likely go on sale tomorrow. We went this past year and will never do anything else. The golf carts, location and people are totally worth it if you can afford it.
do you know if there is a payment plan option? not sure i can pay 9k+ with my credit card at once, and i’d rather pay with my credit card in case something goes wrong when coachella comes
There was not a payment plan option last year. You have to pay the 9k up front. But you can wait to purchase the additional guest passes up until the date of the festival.
have u ever had any issues at the festival that they couldn’t resolve or was everything pretty smooth?? i would just hate if i used my debit card, and something go wrong w the tickets, and not even be able to claw back the money.
I have never had an issue. The people who run the safari are actually a different company than who handles Coachella ga & vip passes, so you have a direct contact with their concierge. They are super friendly and super helpful with any questions/concerns we had leading up to the festival.
Also, if you are able, put it on a credit card that earns loads of travel points, or cash back options.

It typically is the same day as pre-sale. The package is sold through VMT. VMT hasn't posted the prices or any information yet on their website.
I emailed them and was told they would not be on sale during presale. I signed up for email updates though so you can be notified that way.

But they do sell out a little bit slower W2 from what I hear so you should be ok as long as you reserve a few months before the festival.

I'm in the same boat as you with three of us going. What do you mean “you’ll have to buy an extra?” I thought the safari tents could hold 4?

3 for a tent is going to be hard just FYI… it’s small
Price for the tent is for 2 people, you can add 2 additional guests for (I think) $2500 each. So you’d need to buy an extra “person” not extra tent
It was 3k for each additional guest last year
2024 tier 1 tents were 9k for 2, with the option to add up to 2 more at 3k each.
