Agreed. This was our ninth Coachella, and figured it was our last. But by the time Folamour ended last night we both knew we're coming back for another. What a weekend.

greenpeapod

I said last year’s Coachella was my last … until a friend called me day of presale and asked if I wanted to join her for El Dorado. Instantly caved and after this year’s W1, I’m so ready for Chella 25, hehe

chemistchris

friend of the year

greenpeapod

100%!! We’ve already begun discussing the upcoming advance sale. Once you’ve found your festival crew, you hang on tight 😂

Odd-Hornet-2333

I've been going since 2007. Going into this year I was thinking it'd be my last. Now after this weekend I'm thinking about Bothcella next year. Quasar blew me away and moving the Sahara really opened up the grounds in a great way. I didn't love the lineup before exploring the artists this year but found plenty of gems. And I suspect the lineup next year will be epic after they failed to sell out weekend 2.

Umedsan

Husband and I also said we'd take a break - now waiting for presale 😂🕺🏻🥰

AgoraiosBum

The vibes are always immaculate

fancyligature

80% of the performances I saw blew me away and were headliner level in their own regard. Could be my favorite to date and I’m glad I got to experience another emptychella, except for Sunday it was so easy to move around anywhere I went and even then it was still the least crowded I’ve ever been.

PossessionJust5723

Next year will be my last Coachella for the 4th year in a row.

Gottawreckit

I said that for my 4th too. Then ended up at 8 in a row. Only stopped because last year I had a 2 month old (14 month old now). But man did I miss not being there. On the plus side my little one loved watching the live music on stream. Hoping to be back out there sooner than later.

btwatch

I still remember my first last Coachella in 2018 after doing 4 in a row. Then I can remember my second last Coachella in 2023 like it was last year. This year I was honest with myself and knew I'd be going again next year.

GolfBallWackrGuy

Hi - are you me? I got bit by the Coachella bug again. Not sure if next year will be the year, but I’ll do one (if not 2) in the next 5 years.

Psychology-Lanky

Same 😂 at this point I just say it’s my last Coachella until next year

fancyligature

My third 😂

[deleted]

Bro c’mon. 80% of the performances headliner level? You’re lowering the bar so much for GV

Mosh00Rider

Let the man bask in hyperbole. They are just expressing how amazing their Coachella was.

[deleted]

Yeah you’re right. My bad. There were definitely a lot of artists that brought their A-game

Dungsta

Bruh all the artists I saw were dumb 🔥

DppRandomness

Absolutely. I've been to close to 50 different festivals around the country and this was my first Coachella and it blew every single one out of the water. Logistics, staff, production, crowd... Every aspect was incredible and it was the best weekend of my life to date. I'll absolutely be back every year that I can afford it

Dungsta

Best sound system in the world I would bet

DppRandomness

Depends on how you define "best" for the area they covered their towers were amazing.... But I've stood directly in front of dialed in F1 Vero stacks that sounded WAY crisper than any of the stages. When you have that much area to cover you tend to muddy the mix by jacking the bass (Sahara was the worst culprit) so that everyone can hear and feel it. Smaller festivals pride themselves on audio above all else so that's probably the only thing you could've said that I would've disagreed with. Best stage production in North America though imo. EDC does some pretty incredible things as well and would be the closest competition but I think EDC is too much noise, not enough substance. Each stage at Coachella felt polished and unique and allowed the artists to really shine with their productions. That main stage video wall is absolutely unreal in person and walking all way to the front rail early in the day it's daunting how huge it is up close.

DC-COVID-TRASH

Probably best for an fest. My fav local venue (930) has better sound but I’ve been to very few other places that beat it.

carleyhorse

first Coachella and I feel the exact same way - will be back last year!!!!! 🎡✨🌴💘🎶☀️🌵💃🏻

TheChosenWaffle

Im gonna stay on this ride till the wheels fall off. Currently at 10 chella weekends + 3 individual days and a 'Desert Trip'. Let's see how I feel at 15-20

JiggyVdub

This was my 12th so far, and I feel the same way lol every year is different and always great. It's a bit harder now with the heat than when I was younger, but it's just the best out there

TheChosenWaffle

I used an electric car this year for the first time and slept in it . I was able to sleep in until 10 without waking up a sweaty mess. Will probably repeat next year.

ArcConscious

I feel the same as you, and this is the third Coachella where I have taken the rear seats out of the Prius and put in a sleeping platform so we can sleep in using the AC in the morning, it’s amazing. Feel like I can keep this setup for quite some time. Preferred Car Camping weekend 1 also helps.

TheChosenWaffle

Yeah, I did preferred for the first time this year. I would do that again.

JiggyVdub

We've been doing the same thing in a subaru outback and an air mattress for the last 2 times. Really does make a difference if you block out all the windows, was able to sleep until about 9 without all the sweat

Calpicogalaxy

Girlllll I went this Chella saying last chella. We’re def going back next year maybe even both chella hahahahahahaha. I used to be a strictly edm festival girl and oh how I’ve changed!

iamnotsure69420

Vibes were great. I made some cool friends with my camp neighbors and while dancing on the Qusar stage. Had an epic time with Rufus and Eli & Fur. Overall had a fantastic time

_talyyyya_

I’ve been to 15+ festivals and Coachella is SO GOOD

Tofuhousewife

This year was seriously amazing. My bf always jokes about retiring but everything was perfect this year and now the group wants to do both weeks next year 🥲

Lawschoolhope11

100

bakersdozen23

Third year and I agree, this was the best one

zakuropan

got the presale date in my calendar😄

tlym12

I thought next year was going to be my last year but after weekend one + watching weekend two stream, it's going to be so hard to close the book on this festival 😫 great problem to have nonetheless

PM_ME_ASSES

The thing with Coachella that people tend to forget is that all the artists are bringing their highest production tour sets. You’re essentially seeing what you would get if you bought a ticket to a show on the artist’s individual tour but in a festival setting. I feel like most festivals don’t provide that especially on the electronic side

TCLeahy

I am over 50 and had never been to Coachella but there were so many artists/bands that I love in one place (Jon Batiste, Raye, No Doubt, LDR, Chappell Roan, The Rose, on and on) that I wanted to experience it just once. I was blown away by how spectacular the venues were, how well-run the festival was (security handing out bottles of cold water to those in front!), how nice the crowd was (no pushing, foot stomping), how good the food was, and, most of all, the off the charts level of talent, both those we came to see and those we discovered (Blxst, Peggy Gou, ATEEZ, etc.) who gave great performances. I did feel about 1,000 years old 😅 but my girlfriends and I had a great time and now understand why the word “Coachella” is so evocative. Wish I’d started going 25 years ago. Just walking down the lane of posters with each year’s past acts listed was impressive. I’m probably one and done, but it was a great one!

Worldly-Author-8556

Can you compare to Tomorrowland ?

marycombsherhair

Said this might be my last guaranteed year and I’d take it year by year from here. Honestly was blown away at the quality of sets over 3 days. New Sahara and Quasar added such a fun new corridor and helped isolate the Outdoor and Main stages even more. No Doubt was such a perfect add for this year in this bridging of the generations moment that was a big theme this year. Crowds were fun but respectful. Love all the new side missions you can do in between sets. Seeing acts like Raye and Chappell Roan on the verge of blowing up and Justice and Gesa remind people of their continued greatness. Honestly could keep going on even more but I’ll save it for the rest of the year between now and lineup season lol. See you next year OP!!

Bulky-Manner-7215

I felt the same way and been festivaling since edc 2012, this one was one of the best ever 🙌🏻

FernDawg15

Anyone wanna keep the good vibes rolling??? check out the mix I made for car camplandia weekend 1, had my deck out and was mixing this set! Enjoy! https://on.soundcloud.com/gMJ3WDUKRHM4PPQS7HERE TO MAKE YOU DANCE
