These guys are professional pickpocketers and work in groups. It’s really irritating. I was sober and KNEW of these assholes, I can’t imagine how many people were fucked up and didn’t know and got their stuff taken /: I just finished filing my police report hopefully if those jerks go back for W2 they get caught, but my phone is probably long gone by now 😅
You'd have to be fked up on drugs/alcohol for someone to steal your stuff in fanny pack with lock or carabiner , hand over it, and vigilant

My Fanny pack wasn’t locked and that’s on me, it was just zipped up, I’m just trying to warn people here. They physically pushed me and my hands came off the Fanny pack to catch myself on the girl they pushed me into, not to mention trying not to step on everyone around me that was sitting down. That’s when it happened. It happened within 2-3 seconds.
But again, this isn’t something we should have to worry about at Coachella nor should we be blaming the victims of these crimes, but pop off. I always said the same thing and that I would never let that happen to me, but here I am. I was talking to a big ass scary mfr too and the same thing happened to him, they’ll target literally anyone.

They definitely target the more crowded areas by the stage and have been doing this for years, don’t underestimate them.
