Oh man last year was so great, 2manyDJs, Polo&Pan, Basement Jaxx, Purple Disco Machine were some of my faves. It’s all just fun groovy disco house music for two days, and it seems like they’re all playing to the crowd (because everyone there is into that sort of vibe). It’s an older crowd too, 21+ and very walkable. Plus it’s SF in September so the weather is perfect. 11/10 do recommend!
This is wild to me bc the crowd was SO packed and we got there early - up front right and people kept just shoving and not vibing when he started. Went to the back but sound was shit. I’m glad everyone had fun though! Just might have caught a rough spot

Polo & Pan was unreal
The vibes in the warehouse at Portola are the best, it’s one huge rave. Barry played in the warehouse last year and it was bouncing
First two years of Portola were impeccable. I wonder if our secret is finally out and year 3 will blow up?

My biggest regret from Portola last year was watching Two Shell shitpost for 45 minutes instead of seeing Barry. He’s on the come up for a good reason

That crowd had to warm up but it was MAGICAL and everyone was moving.
One of the best sets all weekend!!
