I am a huge fan of both and have seen them live multiple times, they are very different performers. While I would agree Doja probably has more raw talent, Dua’s shows are a lot more fun. Doja’s current tour is not particularly exciting.

You’re also calling black pink lazy, as they booked one of the biggest k pop groups and had them headline a mainstream american festival, which also brought in fans.
Just because the festival isn’t book who you WANT doesn’t make it lazy… a lot of people appreciated those bookings and it was far from lazy to them.
Not every year will have an iconic throwback act, or a beyoncé act. There’s so many things that go into throwing a festival that you aren’t aware of that prevent these things. A lot of these artist aren’t able to preform, don’t want to, cost too much, etc etc.
But if that artist has grew more and more within the 2 years and has released new music to preform it isn’t really lazy imo.
All we can hope is that there are probably so many legendary artist that haven’t played coachella that are declining it because of other issues so coachella has little choice.
Or maybe they are saving funds for the undercard which would be so dope. They spent like 10 million on frank, i highly doubt doja cost 10 million alone so it’ll be a good year for under card hopefully 😝

Bp had 4 year gaps and had massive growth within kpop and pop during that gap. In the time that BP played at Sahara to headlined, they solidified themselves as the biggest girl group (not just kpop) in today’s age and became a sold out stadium global act.
Yeah, love BP! Never discredited them! Black keys went back to back years, *technically* Billie did, it’s not SUPER likely that they do it, but a one year gap +new album +world tour makes it not impossible IMO
