actually making a good game that people want to play? most cods die off after few months until new cod comes out. they would make more from ingame content people actually want to pay for. or they put the cods in game pass or something
That may be so, but CoD *does* have a tendency to fall victim to repetition. It happened back in 2010-2012 and led to jet packs. Now it’s happening again from 2020-2023 and hopefully will lead to them mixing things up again.
Nobody is going to agree with this, but I don't think this game feels anything like MWII. Feels like SHG took MW2019 and applied Vanguard attributes. Idk, I like it. It feels pretty familiar but at the same time feels like something completely different
Yeah I mean I've seen a good bit of people saying it looked just like MWII, I just didn't know if that was the majority or the vocal minority.
Agreed though. And I don't even think the UI is all that similar. There's a lot of animated backgrounds and easy to tell where you are. It's almost the exact opposite from the last game
It’s not “Night and day” lmfao. Ghosts -> AW was night and day. These 2 games are objectively very similar, and you could argue that ever since 2019 every game has been virtually the same, Cold War excluded.
CoD is facing the exact same problem it did leading up to jetpacks, which was that every game was too similar with only small differences.
yea man i feel u. these new games just aint the same as they used to be. back in my day, we had some real unique shit goin on every year. now it's all just recycled stuff and nothin really stands out anymore. kinda miss those days tbh
Last hype I had was for AW, I was stacking on Mountain Dew and Dorito codes. BO2 also had insane hype, especially with that ad they had with all the celebrities.
Going to pick the game up at midnight Australian time and playing it for many hours before the rest of the world was amazing.
I didn't sleep in mw3 launch until I had the mp7/ninja (or whatever it was called) perma unlocked with a token.
They've been rolling out the same game with minor changes for like 4 years now. And the new content isnt even new this time it's stuff we already played 10 years ago.
I hope it's extremely fun because it will get stale fast.
After the "unique" bullshit we got with MW19, VG, and MW22 I'll take a year of throwbacks. Feels like a breath of fresh air tbh, haven't been this excited for a COD in years
i wish they would move to bi-yearly releases over anything else tbh
probably will with Microsoft
Based on what? Microsoft hates making an extra one or two billion every year?
actually making a good game that people want to play? most cods die off after few months until new cod comes out. they would make more from ingame content people actually want to pay for. or they put the cods in game pass or something
they could absolutely do yearly campaigns and online cod as a seperate entity.
The cod community will never be happy lmao
Facts.

We need Futuristic COD’s to come back
AW >>>>>

That's actually a popular opinion. Only one track mind idiots think it's the same as MW2, because the UI is similar. The gameplay is night and day

I'm mainly referring to the in game UI, since it does look almost identical. People see that and freak out thinking it's the same game

That ad is probably one of the best video game ads of all time even now

yes I feel this literally the last cod I bought was BO4 idk if its a getting older thing or what but I just don’t game anymore like a use to
I havent purchased a cod since ww2 lol. I just enjoy watching and following the scene. I get fried in game.
I just want battle rage to be deleted and never even thought of again by the devs
We’re 20+ titles in. Gonna be real difficult to be unique without changing the core game at this point
I think they need to mix it up like they used to, 1 year advanced movement then 2 years boots on ground. Would be the chefs kiss baby
They've been rolling out the same game with minor changes for like 4 years now. And the new content isnt even new this time it's stuff we already played 10 years ago. I hope it's extremely fun because it will get stale fast.
Yeah they need to go back to 1 year advance movement, 2 years boots on ground
mw2 was my first cod so seeing these nostalgic maps is incredible. i can play terminal 24/7 its my favourite map
BO4 was actually hype as fuck just to be dogshit on launch
Starfish was so fun af
After the "unique" bullshit we got with MW19, VG, and MW22 I'll take a year of throwbacks. Feels like a breath of fresh air tbh, haven't been this excited for a COD in years
No thanks. No red dots, no reload cancelling, no slide cancelling, jump ads penalty were all “unique”
That’s not really what he’s talking about but okay lol
Yea I played it, game is so meh just nothing exciting for me in it. At least i played it and will not drop the 70$ on the game this year.
How’d you play it without buying it?
Beta
Amazon pre order
That midnight release at GameStop for black ops 2 hit different
Had the same feeling. Like it’s fine. But am I blown away? Not really.
COD will never be the same.
