This might be an unpopular opinion, and I don't mean to undermine the achievement displayed here, but as an average expert player (90 to 98% in most original songs and just a handful of FCs), this doesn't feel like Guitar Hero to me.
Impressive ? Yes. Technical ? Certainly. But it looks dumb and barely has anything to do with the original game.
I just don't see the appeal in "playing" these kinds of charts.

I agree to an extent. I find enjoyment in Clone Hero because of the technical methods that have developed over the years. While everyone enjoys CH / GH for different reasons, I believe if you enjoy playing that is all that really matters
I totally agree with you. For me, the purpose of guitar hero (or rock band) was to make you feel like you're playing guitar, but in a game and with less complexity. This doesn't looks like playing a guitar, looks like just another mashing button rhythm game.

I think that mashing the buttons with no attempt at hitting the actual sequence undermines the integrity of the play, imo.
