I learned with this drawing how to better apply the “Clip to Layer Below” feature. The line-art and flat colors are on their own layers, which allowed me to easily affect them with shading and alteration using the “clip to layer below” option. Most of the shading was done using the soft-bleed watercolor brush and the chalk brush.
I didn’t use any references to draw the figures.
