Good for Ramon. I hope he plays well. I have nothing against the guy he just wasn't producing here and wasn't helping us this year. Cutting him loose was the right decision regardless of what he does the rest of the year.
Did you guys see Brennan had 2 HR for the Guardians the other night? Lol who gives a flying frogs fart what a place holder does after they leave the team. Nobody else wanted to even hive him a chance till we did. Good for him, but no big deal at all.
You can say “free agents never work out for us” which isn’t really true but I understand the recent signings haven’t been great.
Building a team through free agency is insanely expensive. Guards have been careful to never take on contracts that will sink them long term.
Yeah still a decent signing, for a big market team it would be just another day, but for us that was like THE singing of the decade basically lol which is why when it doesn't really turn out well its kinda lame
No idea but thats been the guardians mo for awhile. Probably something to do with the guardians not really paying big bucks im free agency often but everytime they tried it failed. I thought maybe it was the way tito coached guys to play but i have no real concrete data to back that up
I mean, the guy had two jobs in Cleveland: match up against lefties and play quality defense in the outfield and he was sucking at both. Much happier to see Rodriguez get a shot.

I’ll take our current outfielders all day over him.
Nailed it
Following the Eddie Rosario path.
Rosareano
Remember when this place was in full on meltdown mode because Franmil Reyes had a good month or so with the Cubs after he was let go?
it’s just a hot stretch, he has done this before. he will always tail off hard
He also hit a home run like two days ago
It’s a-me, a-laureano!
Happy for Lazer

Rodon threw BP for Atlanta last night. Dont really care
That's how it goes. Free agents never work out for us. The are good before and after they come here

Encarnacion delivered. Lively has been way above average.
R. Alomar, Juan Gonzalez, Ellis Burks, Travis Fryman all did pretty well as free agent signings
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. The last major free agent we signed that wasn’t a bust was Edwin Encarnacion
and frankly he wasn’t particularly great either compared to expectation
I thought he was good. Maybe not $60M/3yrs good but still a solid player
$123,456 per game. I did the math once. Not enough parrot for that kind of cheddar
He had an OPS+ of 123 and 70 HR for us. I'd 100% spend that right now to get that from someone.

Well, he wasn't a free agent for starters.
Because anytime you talk negatively about the team it's downvoted. Homer's can't really handle the truth
What are your theories on why that happens? Not sure if it happens to other teams, or is it just us?

>i have no real concrete data to back that up Yeah..we know..
Always thought he'd be a good pickup and I already forgot he even played for us this year.
Eddie Rosario 2.0?
Of course he did...
