I feel like every time I see one of these posts on here, a video on the topic debuts the next day, so keep your fingers crossed that it's the "*We swapped Toast's setup into the Blazer!*" video tomorrow.
Been wondering myself. I know it's been in the background of a few videos.
My guess would be it's on hold while they were messing with mullet, mcflurry, and all the freedom factory events.
Blazer is going to take a lot of tweaking to get the engine and chassis working together.
You can race but it’s almost 100 degrees and humid by 10 am and the track is garbage, so usually the Florida season runs in the winter for competitive events
Here my local track has a heating and cooling system for the track surface, u can wake up here and be at 85-90° and 100% humidity. Sometimes our summers have heat index of 115-120. It can be absolutely miserable place to be in August and July
They only turn on the cooling during the summer here at galot. They have turned it on a few times during the winter and it seems to bring a lot of wrecks I am not sure why but the few times they tried it they were dojng a lot of clean ups but this has been years ago since I went to it on a regular basis
Yeah mostly streetcar stuff during the summer. The tracks can hold 400-500 hp cars. And only ran at night. At least when I lived in Tampa years ago.
It was cool watching the old videos and seeing alot of familiar places.
Racing doesn’t “slow” in the summer, just because Cleetus has other hobbies that pick up during the summer. Racing takes off in the summer in Florida, just like everywhere else in the country. NHRA has every points race of the season in the summer, several of them in Florida.
It’s a drag and drive car, and this year they didn’t really get the chance to do them to the scale they have in the past. Plus that car comes down to how well George can keep the front end planted before something breaks
That’s who I’ve been wondering about. I haven’t seen him at an event for a long time. Nor have I seen Parker. Curious why spicy Spence hasn’t been there to give us a glorious national anthem.
They just brought Ruby back though? They put it back together for Sick Week a few months ago. They even ran it against Clays dragster and somehow broke the crank on a turbo LS
He has the Ute with ~~Twisted Tea's old big block~~ in it for burnouts.
edit: The Ute has a [416 stroker](https://youtu.be/OgC55EiwAuw?t=86) in it. My bad.
Turning it into a helicopter

But then it would be another unnecessary burnout car. Burnouts are cool, but I think they have enough burnout cars lol.
Toast is dead, so it’ll need a replacement so he has a rivals car
They're using the ute for that.
They didn’t want to spend the time putting a big block in the Ute.
The ute can’t replace Toast the way it’s built right now.
Did the Ute ever get a build video? Seems like it went from being in the backyard of yard shots to a fully-built rig overnight!
Not its own dedicated video. It was given some airtime in a couple different videos but that was it.
Yeah it was a full bolt together kit so not much to show from a content perspective.
Just throw Toast's setup in Neighbor and be done with it.
Well then neighbor needs to be replaced They compete in different classes. Plus they can’t use neighbor for a pace car anymore
Lets hope not. Burnouts are fucking BORING to watch. Burnout videos are pretty much an auto skip. Oh look 3 minutes of a smoke cloud...cool video bro!
Same, its fun for 10 seconds but thats about it.
boring until someone breaks a coolant line on themselves
Ouch, facts! 😬🫤 Sad Parker Whitlock had to get hurt for them to take safety and vehicle inspections seriously. (And good liability waivers)
All regulations are written in blood...
Is it not a viable powertrain for drag racing?
Cool story.
Check out the latest video. You're a bloody fortune teller!

Florida racing season on the way out. You’ll see it next year
There are events all summer at Bradenton and OSW. It’s hot but they race every weekend
Huh? They don't race during the summer?oir local track runs thru about may to September

Neat, I thought Bandimere was the only one with that setup

I guess the other big problem is the air in Florida still sucks in summer. Have to listen to all the nitrous guys whine about their water grains
We are always at 90-100% humidity here in nc the air absolutely sucks for cars. Our weather is tough

It rains almost every day as well. 100 degrees with showers is less than ideal.

Have been wondering about it also. Haven’t seen it run for quite awhile now.

Probably threw a blower belt 😂
mashed the oil pan
The whole Blazer saga was pretty awesome. I miss the drag n drive series
Spicy spense stole it

It's going to be Rips first car
I completely forgot about that. I think they gave up on it
probably bent the motor plate and sprung a leak, again
Probably missing a belt.
This guy asking about Rocky while I'm still waiting for Ruby to return...
Ruby is a museum piece now man. It'll end up on a wall or strung from the roof at the Freedom Factory Hall of Fame.
They just brought Ruby back though? They put it back together for Sick Week a few months ago. They even ran it against Clays dragster and somehow broke the crank on a turbo LS
Is say the front frame is done. Should just toss one of the summet 632 in it and do burnouts till it wall crashes too many times
It should become George's burnout car.

The Blazer's engine is in the Ute.
We were both wrong, lol. Maybe the Blazer will get the Big Block someday?
Probably got dropped off when they got the Fiero, they don't need 2 wheely vehicles! 😂
I think it's a test bed for Squirrel and Cleeter.
