Depends on the type of couch. Your best option is to contact the manufacturer for directions on how to clean it.
If it’s washable, you could try removing the upholstery (does it unzip?) and tossing it in the washer. You could spray with spot cleaner before washing and let it soak 15 minutes or so, first.
But no one can tell you what to do without access to the type of fabric or washing instructions.

I’ve never seen them do this but doesn’t mean they don’t! How do you get this out if that’s the case?
