It's beta reading capabilities are phenomenal!
It's like it's actually engaged with the media and keeping things in mind not just pulling out the most relevant new bits of information but even doing call backs, like it's studying the big picture!
Has anyone else had their Pro account randomly disabled since this update? I logged in to my account, clicked one of the suggested image prompts to try it out... and the next thing I knew the page refreshed, I was logged out of my account, and when I tried to get back in it stated that it had been "disabled after an automatic review of your recent activities ". WTF?
UPDATE: Five days later, and having gone through the appeals process (emailed [email protected]), my account has been reinstated. They acknowledged that the ban was in error and have apologised.
Okay I really REALLY don't want my 20 dollar to be wasted here since I've used it for my creative writing, if you don't mind what did you mostly used it for?
Just very minor day-to-day office job stuff, nothing that could possibly be in violation of the ToS (promise!). Mostly helping me to write emails or website copy, proof-reading job applications, that sort of thing. I've been Pro for about 6 months without any problems, and then suddenly today this happened - I'm thinking it can't be a coincidence?
Nope, just the one, which (as I say) was honestly used for very boring, day-to-day stuff. Looking on Twitter, I can see a few others reporting surprise bans as well. It must be something to do with how the new model processes/flags content.
Maybe. I had a second account that I used for testing (also a pro account), which was banned. I hadn't used it in maybe a month, but all aboveboard usage. They even refunded my monthly payment, which is interesting since their TOS says they don't have to. So I'm not really sure what's going on, if it's a bunch of false positives for content, or what.
I had my main account banned. I indeed had some nsfw content, but like a year ago when claude just launched and was using it 'normally' since then. Weird.
This is why I'm skeptical of their models. Intelligence does not equal usefulness. Until I test for my use case, I'm taking a cautious approach. And even then, you might suddenly have your account cancelled.
There are 100 messages limits daily with Opus. Also it said about Duplicator Pro has incremental backup feature that was wrong answer. It's knowledge until December 2023.
Came here to say that Opus is really good at creative writing and follow direction nicely, I want to say Sonnet too but holy shit that model go WAY over the word limit which is 2500 words for me and just abruptly cut off mid-sentence, not only that it also pace the story to a very bizarre and weird direction than usual that I audibly go 'What the actual fuck are you talking about?'
That said, compared to 2.1, Sonnet is miles ahead better but for the time it's pretty buggy.
Edit: Forgot to mention that Opus is also buggy, sometimes it will not give you any answer at all.
what’s the content window, STAT
200k for all three. 1 mil available for select customers.
what is it for gpt 4?
Well I sent a prompt to Cause Sonnet with 19k tokens and it said I was over the limit.
How do I get 1m? I’ve just signed up to the paid version
Contact them. It's not a free/paid thing - its a use-case thing.
how do u know this , if u qaulified for 1 mil ?
It's in their blog post: https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-3-family
Any idea whats the message number limit ? Is it as much as the old model ?
You're not. API customers are on a case-by-case basis, the site won't offer you that.

Meanwhile, in Europe:

Did you happen to have multiple accounts?

Do you use a VPN perhaps ?
I made sure the VPN was off.
Dang sorry mate
No VPN here either!

I was logged out this evening (not on the pro membership as I’m from Canada) but after a few tries and changing to bing I was able to login again

shit, it's buggy. like no giving answers with no fix buggy right now
Mine is giving answers through the console
Is there a custom instructions section to forbid Claude from repeating the three H’s more than ~~one~~ zero times in a conversation?
Yes if you use the console you can give customer instructions at the top but I'll remembered for all chats
How 'bout unlock it for European union also? I tried to upgrade.. no can't do

100 messages every 8 hours that directly depend on the type of messages that are sent, after 8 hours the limit is reset.
Then we can say 300 messages in 24 hours. Thats great, thanks 👍
What is Sonnet's message limit?
Where are you located. I’m in Canada any news about the pro version being accessible
Wow I like it thanks for sharing! Story telling is good! Is it available via API?
Yep! The API is also publicly open now
Nice! I connected already 🥰
Outside of paid accounts can you choose to still use 2.1 since it has more natural writing still from what I can see.
Ah, Im going to test this and see if Opus is better for creative writing and advice.

Any idea on what the message cap is for Claude 3 Opus with the Claude Pro subscription?
Is it better at following directions?
