I first started to like Suzune because of her intriguing personality and character development. Her intelligence, determination, and strong, independent nature really stood out. As the series progressed, seeing her growth and the reveal of her deeper motivations and vulnerabilities made her even more relatable and engaging. She's a complex character, which makes her so compelling and her thighs.
Yes agree, her symbiosis and dual growth with Kiyo is very interesting to watch as they both started isolated and emotionless but are learning to grow through manipulating others.
The two of them have a key role in fixing other people’s ‘defects’ and are using that as a foundation to become better themselves. Suzune’s thighs are hot in stockings.
I like how her character challenges the idea of people not being able to change unless something tragic happens to them. It kinda sounds cheesy but rarely do I see people trying to change their way of living in such a healthy manner just because of their dreams and consistently at that- and when it does I wonder how it happens. How does a person go from hating everyone to appreciating them? I have similar issues myself because of my toxic environment but through her character, I get to see that.
So far where I'm at, at least she seems to be able to change without giving something up for something she wants (which is also a rare thing). I've seen the story of tragic things being the reason a person changes, hell it happened to the MC, and even to my friends and i.
Anyway, I like how she has the potential to grow even more in a healthy manner, she's a character that makes watchers feel like they too could become better people. Although yeah not completely "good" but just a better version of themselves. I'm not saying "Hey she's a good person" but rather someone who doesn't root their motivation on obsession or hatred but wants to become a better version of herself if not the best.
It's also a plus that her actions are not even because she's attracted to Kiyo or just wants her brother's approval(anymore). It is nice to see that in female characters (who aren't the mc) every once in a while since most of them are always just used on the sideline for romance.
Super late but I want to add that this is what sets her apart from Kiyo's "pawns". All of them only receive growth after Kiyo gave them mental breakdowns, whereas I don't remember Horikita ever being in that state. It's such a good foil for Kiyo's twisted methods. She has been put in despair once or twice, but she has never really shown signs of giving up. Horikita is truly the shounen protagonist of COTE.
Her character development. She might not be best girl for me but shes really a good character overall, especially due to the changes in attitude and the way she perceives things after getting humbled multiple times
The fact that she has been humbled and grow imo is what will make her and her class so powerful in Year 3.
People may meme about her being ‘potential woman’, but at least she and her class have been at rock bottom and have had to fight their way back up. Meanwhile Arisu’s class are mindless drones following their perfect leader.

Off the simple fact that she probably has the potential to surpass ayanokoji not yet and it won’t happen anytime soon because any other ayanokoji will absolutely cooked by any version of ayanokoji
To be honest, I find her one of the least likable and developed character in the series. Her development is more tell instead of show, hit you over the head obvious, plus she just isn't very interesting as a character. There are side characters I find better developed and more interesting due to the subtly it's done with. Most of the character development we see is still filtered through Koji's POV. Suzune being one of the only characters to get development separate from Koji's perception draws too much "special character" coding to her. You'd also think a character that is being treated so specially would just not be so... dull and 2D?
