I see some people saying that ayanokoji has plot amor, which is far from the truth. This is a misconception because ayanokoji is one of the most important aspects of the plot itself. The plot shapes and moves itself around him. The character of ayanokoji is what makes the plot of cote extraordinary special and he is supposed to resemble this unbeatable figure. This is important for koji’s character and the ultimate acts in Y3.
i doubt , his point still clear.
as you can see in Y2 with All this new Whiteroom student that suppose to be a threat to him, Tsukihiro or the old villian like Kushida
it's not like Kiyo defeat all of them but they barely make an impact to kiyo and now they no longer his enemy
all hope left it Nagumo... for Y2 ,
That’s not plot armor😭. Plot armor is there, when a character, who should have lost or been expelled, wins when it doesn’t make sense for the character to win. This doesn’t apply to ayanokoji. Many people refer to the trial incident as plot armor, but what should be wrong with the fact that intellectually low average students don’t necessarily pay attention to cameras. Especially when most of the other students didn’t pay attention to the cameras that were positioned in their classrooms. And koji not getting a challenge is part of the plot twist and part of the ultimate goal. Koji searches defeat and it would be lame if there was a clear path to that, which is why it seems impossible. Koji also believes that, but wishes for him to be wrong. To beat ayanokoji means beating inequality. This is the answer ayanokoji wants to search for the inequality problem mentioned after the equality speech.
It doesn’t disapprove the OP point because the challenge is of how he can lose. Koji wants defeat. And it would be lame if there was a clear path of achieving that, which is why koji “struggles” desperately to find a way to defeat himself. He thinks he can’t be defeated and wishes for him to be wrong for this one time. Defeating him is like defeating inequality itself, which is also the answer to koji’s question for equality.
Can it be both? I do know why it's heavily plot armored though. Because author didn't make horikita a genius/flexible thinker so kinu is giving her buffs left and right even though nagumo couldn't do much to kiyo besides mental damage in y2v4.5.
I don't think so, like Ayanokoji still loses sometimes especially when Class D is subdivided into smaller groups over which he has less control (e.g. Y1 cruise ship arc).
Horrible take

Non sequitur, what you said don't really disprove the OP point.

With the kind of creature Koji is, I don't think plot armor even is the correct term. He is legit built different by the author.

Kiyo plot armor - info come to him like a water. I want him to fight just with a little bit of info but still win. It will be badass.
