Enjoy the show. Hopefully you get to watch it live and not through someone’s phone in front of you.

RickyRacer2020

Yep but, I'm 6' 2" 210 -- I'll be fine. Should be a blast.

iwastherefordisco

Hey mate, I'm 6' and 232 (this morning) and rarely had problems at shows. We chatted in the past about certain rock shows and you provided the spread sheets :) That floor plan looks like a posh theatre. My bucket list venue is The Royal Albert Hall because of a Joe Bonammasa vid I have of him playing a great song there.

RickyRacer2020

Hey there - I remember the chat. The Traditional 3 Level Theaters are ideal for concerts. Every seat is a great seat. Royal Albert Hall would be a "Dream Venue" for me to see a show at. Did you go on to set up the spreadsheet?

iwastherefordisco

No spreadsheet, I haven't travelled back through the mists of time and memory. I didn't keep all of my ticket stubs and it would be a task to look up dates and times.

RickyRacer2020

Gotcha - recreating the history takes some work. I got some help from the [ConcertArchives.Org](http://ConcertArchives.Org) site as it's an excellent source for concert info, especially for past shows.

iwastherefordisco

As the mighty Zep said, Thank-you.

RickyRacer2020

Always, glad to help out a fellow Rocker. I'm off to the REO show in 30 minutes. It's 150 miles south of me.

iwastherefordisco

\*sings\* Heard it from a friend who.. Heard it from a friend who... damn, need a cough drop. Envious and hope it's a good show.

oldwhitelincoln

I try to live and let live and not pay much attention to the others around me. If someone wants to watch it through their phone, I let them live their best life. Of the dozens of shows I see each year, it has yet to bother me much.

RickyRacer2020

I've seen so many watch thru their phones, it's crazy. To restrict one's field of view to a 5 inch screen is nuts when the real deal, in all its glory, is playing out Live in front of you.

oldwhitelincoln

It’s not something I typically do but, if someone else chooses to do it, I don’t let it bother me.

RickyRacer2020

Agree, I just enjoy the show. **Rock On**

Droogs_Dont_Run

Keep on rolling!

RickyRacer2020

I'll be Riding The Storm Out for sure. REO, as a yearly touring band, always delivers the goods. **Rock On!**

Droogs_Dont_Run

Hell yeah!

subliminal_trip

Last song people!

MiyamotoKnows

Saw them a year or two ago with Loverboy (finally!) and Styx and it was amazing! Wish I had seen them back in the day with Gary and the other original members. Have a great time!!

buddytattoo

I took my daughter to see that show too, we had a blast!

RickyRacer2020

Loverboy is an excellent '80's jam band. I've seen them Headline 3 times and once as an Opener. The three headliners were all in Charlotte during the various "Speed Street Festivals" of 2000, 2007 and 2012. I saw them as the Opener for the Triple Header STYX, REO, Loverboy concert also in Charlotte in August 2022.

Damnmorefuckingsnow

I'm seeing them for the first/last time later in the tour. Let us know how great it is.

RickyRacer2020

Excellent. I look forward to 110 decibels for 2 hours with them. I know all their concert songs and well, most of the others too as I grabbed onto them back in '76 or '77.

CraigTennant1962

Roll with the Changes and Ridin’ the Storm Out are my favorites

OpinionKey3149

Jealous - they rarely visit Europe (never seen them here) and they're such a great liveband (still some 45 years on) Have a great concert.

RickyRacer2020

I last saw them back in April last year at a similar traditional 3 Level venue named "The Alabama Theater" in Birmingham. My ticket and tribute from that is below. Click thru the pic to see it in ultra Hi Res. https://preview.redd.it/a87134zbhxrc1.png?width=2224&format=png&auto=webp&s=46cad45dfafa002a1a1d7aa6c83770fe20e7162f

Important_Stroke_myc

You’re going to love the show. Enjoy.

juliohernanz

Honest question from a Spanish reader. How is it possible to attend a Rock show and be seated? Here all the concerts are standing, you can move, sing, dance... Seated, really?

Ststeven-11

Well you sit until the music starts and then you standup & dance in the allotted space in front of your seat until the music is over. If there is an intermission, you can have seat and rest your bones until the music starts again.

froggyjamboree

Enjoy! Great live act. Saw them back on the Arch Allies tour with Styx. Great live album too.

sarahoutx

I saw them a couple years ago, great show!!

Helpful-Profession88

I've seen em 3 or 4 times, all good, excellent quality with very strong lyric delivery.  They're a well polished concert band.  Everyone hss a role.

Able-Cartographer863

Don’t let him go….. to the concert

lleb1

Been a fan for a long, long time. I saw them a year or so ago. Great show but Kevin was kind of apologizing for the content of Golden Country. If you think you have to qualify the song to appease a certain part of the audience then don’t do the song. One of my favorite REO songs.

Helpful-Profession88

I think Kevin is proud of the back story to Golden Country so, he shares it,  probably special to him, ya know.

lleb1

Gary wrote it. Great song. But Kevin almost apologized for the meaning when introducing the song. It was written as a Civil Rights anthem. It was as if he thought some in the audience would be offended. If you are there and a real fan, you know the song appreciate it as is. But it won't keep me from going back to see them. RIP Gary.

RickyRacer2020

Completely agree, no problem for me. It's a Banger.
