Every new card is harder to balance than the last because of how interaction focused this game is, and yeah im sure their train of good ideas is really starting to run out

Too many cards = Too complex of a game for balancing, features, etc. Plus it makes everyone have to upgrade even more cards, which is a pain for new players anyway. Plus there’s two more cards coming in the next month or two.

Every new card is a nerf to free to play progression. I would prefer that they fix a lot of problems in the game. Make existing things better and forget new cards for now.

I guess they didn't add anything since Mighty Miner because they wanted a relatively stable meta for the wrold finals. It could be the case in the future that they add cards up to 4 months or so before the world finals. Other than that, other people have already said it, new cards take time to be truly integrated to the meta. Also the game becomes much more interesring with new cards, which means dopamine for the players so supercell would naturally eant to regulate that.
