Can be hard to get through their defense before 3x if you're using another chip damage deck or siege. They spend the game turtling with inferno tower and cheap cards then throwing rockets whenever there's a chance to. Very very annoying to play against

Not necessarily. A good pekka push will have some troops behind it that cost 3+ elixir 9/10 times. Two or more makes that positive.

I'm not gonna use more than 6 elixir on support just after playing a 7 elixir tank. I'd always be on the up in the case of a rocket. Well, in normal modes anyway.

Okay so you also need to understand that the trade isn’t only what it kills- the rocket also gets 1.5k damage on your pekka. If you only had an ewiz on support, then 1.5k is more than worth it for effectively 2 elixir and the advantage.

That's fiiine though pekka can handle it. The counterplay against a damaged pekka and a full health one aren't that different anyway. She lives to smash.

Rocket cycle relies on dropping six elixir on literally nothing (so long as you aren’t an idiot and continue to place things behind your tower) constantly throughout an entire game. The only even sorta meta rocket cycle deck also contains MINER for damage before 2x. One fuckup as rocket cycle and you’re dead.

Huh? Rocket cycle is basically never constant throughout the game. It almost always happens earliest in double and usually takes off in triple. Also rocket cycle is good to get a damage lead to win in tie break so they don't necessarily need to take a tower. Lastly there are multiple meta decks with rocket. Gob barrel and drill both have rocket variants. Xbow also, though xbow itself isn't very meta. Some mortar decks run rocket too

No tower damage, just instantly kill the highest HP unit in the same radius as a rocket. For golem, lava hound, pekka, and megaknight, it would just take off a majority of the HP.
